3/4 way through? Any more thoughts?

Linda (lindaleehall) | 30 comments The story really drew me in through this section. The characters were more fleshed out and the tension mounted. I don't know if enjoy is the correct word, but I am very glad to be reading this book.

Goodness, the more books I read from the Asian sub-continent, the more my heart breaks. I have to finish this tonight.

Candace | 53 comments What an extraordinary journey Anam has taken us on. My heart was broken at the medical center in Calcutta. She helped so many refugees just by spending time with them and caring. Rehana has constantly been pulled from her comfort zone and she was very brave! She even stood up to her brother and sister in law, in many ways they had been her nemesis. What an awkward situation her son put her in asking her to help Sabeer!

I am so relieved she found a spark with the Major and had a chance for love again. With so much hardship, this helps my heart balance out the reading. Cannot wait to finish this.
