Ace and A Pair by Blake Banner"
Was trawling Amazon AU and found this kindle free; get yours here
I got it free a little while ago through BookBub Tien. Are you signed up to them? They send an email once a day with cheap (less than $2) and free kindle and ibook e-books. You can set what your favourite genre's are so the emails are relevant to what you like.

I'd like to nominate The Whites by Harry Brandt, which has been on my TBR list for quite some time, following favourable reviews from AR friends, including PattyMac.

This does sound good, Kerri!
And! Lo and behold, it's FREE here in the US Kindle, too!
That's a shocker!! =o)
Melinda Leigh is an author I'm keen to try, She Can Run her debut novel sounds good and is rated over 4 on GR.

by Jefferson Bass"
Sorry Rob, that one is number 6 in the series. Can you choose something else which is stand alone or first book in a series?

We are changing the criteria for the monthly reads that we had for 2017. For our 2018 monthly reads we will do a different country per month. For February's read we are looking for books set in the USA.
So - nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book set in the USA for our February read. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)
NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)
This thread will be open until 10th January, then our nominations will go to the vote:) Good luck and have fun!
Authors and publishers, please don't nominate your own work!
