I want to get as many sitting on my kindle read as possible before February as I plan to rejoin KU than and there are many in that membership which I have been wanting to read. One of these days I have to also read the Non-JAFF books on my Kindle and get to read Linda Wells' Keeping Calm...hundreds of chapters there which could take up a whole month alone.
Great progress 👍.Keeping calm by Linda Wells... is that on AHA? I have looked for it but I am not too familiar with AHA, yet.
I will give you the link to the first page. If you sign up to be notified (upper right hand corner) you will be sent notification every time she posts a one chapter. It is a modern story set during WWII. I only read up to the marriage but have copied and saved all the chapters. I have about 10 files because there are so many chapters...all saved under a file with that name. It is not difficult to sign up to be member. Good luck and let me know if you have a problem. I will send the link via a private message.

Thank you for the link. I recently became a member and cannot wait to read it but I don't think I can manage it one go though... I am currently trying to update my GR read-list with the books from my other apps. It takes a lot of time but hopefully it will prevent me from buying books I already have 🙈.I liked the refined like silver very well, it was a bit different.
Sheila wrote: "28.) To Refine Like Silver 4 stars"You have read so many books already this year! This is on my TBR List so I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. I have it on my Kindle App but usually end up putting those books off until later and instead read the ones I have in print or checked out from my Library.
AT the present time I am refraining from buying any books as I feel guilty about having won, downloaded for free or bought in the past so many books. I am just attempting to put a dent in that group before acquiring more which are attracting my attention. #28 is one I won when I won the grand prize from the blog tour raffle. I won something like 27 books in paperback signed by the author. I had already read them on my Kindle but promised myself to reread them in paperback form since I won them. A couple have had such small font so I am rereading the Kindle version instead.
I know exactly how you feel Sheila. I've stopped entering competitions because I don't always get round to the books I win and I feel bad about it. Someone could win and read it straight away so I'm going to leave it for a while. When I got more involved on GR I think I got carried away. I was flying through books trying to keep up with my challenge, flying through books for group reads and ended up not enjoying reading anymore. I think I've given myself a good talking to now though and I'm back on track.
I set my Goodreads goal rather low so I don't have to worry about making it. Sometimes I read a lot and other times there are matters which take me away from reading.28.) Love at First Slight 5 stars

You can always increase your goal later in the year if you decide you want to. Reading should be for fun and not something you feel you need to do to reach a certain number of books. They are meant to be enjoyed.
LOVED Love at First Slight. I thought the author was very clever the way she managed the gender swap. Congrats on being up to #29!
Her command of the English language was just so amusing in parts and brilliant in others. Thanks for the compliment.
Sheila wrote: "32.) Darcy's Wife Search: A Pride & Prejudice Novella 4 stars"That's great that you have been able to read so many already this year, including another off my TBR list.
32 was a perfect story of fluff for restoring my equilibrium after some angsty reads. Zoe's stories usually are sweet and romantic.
I dunno, Sheila. Should've given yourself 3-for-1 with that last one. It IS a set of 3 books by Pam Dixon, after all, so that's not cheating. I've read all of them separately, which is why I never put this one on my TBR list.
I have your #37 and #38 on my Kindle but haven't gotten to them yet. Not sure why I've put off Leap of Hope: Chance at an Austen Kind of Life. Like you, I've always enjoyed Shannon Winslow's books.
44.) Pride and Prejudice and a Shakespearean Scholar: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary 4 stars45.) Darcy's Tempest: A Pride and Prejudice Short Story 3.5 stars
Congrats on 3 more books, Sheila!I borrowed The Missing Prince: An Elizabeth and Darcy Story (K.U.) but I'm not sure I'll read it. I've lost respect for Timothy Underwood, because his books have gotten to the point where they're really not JAFF but he uses those character names to sell books. Based on reviews (including yours), sounds like this is another one. His writing is good and so are his basic plots, but I'm SO turned off by his persistence in naming his Hero and Heroine Darcy and Elizabeth.
There are more than a few who do that but I do read outside the genre and enjoy those stories. At least he hints that this is not a P&P variation with his title. I have read his comments about how he is in this country or that country, etc. and wonder just what his background is. I think the hardest thing to keep up with in this story was how potential/magic worked in one person or another. The fact that someone would cut the link between two people was unique.
