Some are available on Kindle Unlimited if you subscribe to that. I would recommend any of them but The Falmouth Connection is a good one with which to begin.
I scored one of the free copies, but I kinda wish I hadn't claimed it. I really hate cliffhangers unless I have the sequel in hand. I do feel obligated to go ahead and read it, but I'm mad at myself for not recognizing that probably I'll be left feeling dissatisfied at the end regardless of how excellent this book is.
Yes, I agree but I should not have "scored" the book as the WIP were the same and I had read it already. But at least I could count it as a "published" book read.
That is the downside to reading WIP that is later published. I want to support our authors and all... but I can only afford so much. If they would let a few of their books go at a lower price... even if only for a short time.... while... say like a launch discount or something. They would sell more books. But as I've heard more than one author lament... that is their livelihood. So it is a balancing act... customers trying to save money while authors are wanting/needing to sell books.
I have the chapters which I am sure I could forward to anyone...same as the book, I do believe and it is very short.
169.) A Most Alarming Letter by cherrybomb written in 2011 http://meryton.com/aha/index.php?show... , very short and it does stretch the imagination but does not go into any MA description although such is alluded to. 4 stars

Sometimes we strike it rich. I do like that others' posting of their stories' ratings gives us a clue about what to read next.
179.) The Meryton Murders: A Mystery Set in the Town of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice - audible version
181.) And Then The Murders Started by PemberleyFanhttps://m.fanfiction.net/s/12418540/1/ 3 stars
With Debbie's recommendation I had to read this. "Offing" is now in season, ladies and gentlemen.
Getting closer Sheila... I was saving my sparklers but some parts of the country are banning fireworks so... we'll do a virtual celebration when you hit the big number.
Thank you. Pennsylvania just this year has allowed the bigger fireworks to be set off in state but now they are trying to limit the times as some people are setting them off all hours of the night and people and their pets can't sleep. No one near me has disturbed my sleep. Thankfully.
Yeah, we have time limits also. You can only shoot them off during certain times. They will usually ban fireworks during times of drought... but we have had rain and so we are good to go.
I watched the weather radar and thought of you. When it was hitting the Carolina coast, I thought of Debbie. Then we have Kirk in Boston. Lots of friends in harms way. Glad you are well.
The weather is strange lately all over the world, Here in Ireland we have had an unbelievable Summer. It's been non stop sunshine and heat for weeks. Normally we get two weeks in May and that's it. Unfortunately none of the grass or crops are growing so the farmers are having a tough time. Buying in food to feed the animals.
Teresa, I remember years ago we had an especially dry season and farmers in other states banded together and sent hay to the states that were suffering in the drought. I love farm people... they are the salt of the earth and they also feed the nation. Without them... we would starve. My hat goes off to farmers. Bless you guys.
192.) The Year of the Rooster, an unpublished about 3 page modern JAFF variation in which Lizbeth and Wil are expecting and his sister, Ginny, digs out his old toys, the prime one being a stuffed rooster from a movie. http://saramarks.net/wp-content/uploa... 3 stars
