A challenge I really like (but am really rubbish at) is reading works by authors I've already read and enjoyed.

Who do you want to read this year?

So last year I picked eight female authors to revisit, and only got around to four of them, so this year I'll set the target a little lower.

The women I definitely want to revisit are:

N.K. Jemisin First Read: 2015 Books Read: 2 Read this Year: 1
The Fifth Season
- Enjoyed this a lot more than the 1st book by Jemisin I read (The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms). Glad I gave her a second chance and will be continuing with this series.

Toni Morrison First Read: 2015 Books Read: 2 Read this Year: 1

Becky Chambers First Read: 2016 Books Read: 3 Read this Year: 1
A Closed and Common Orbit
- Still one of my favourite author finds of last few years. So far none of the sequels have quite matched up to her first book, but they're still all great.

Zadie Smith First Read: 2017 Books Read: 2 Read this Year: 0

Arundhati Roy First Read: 2017 Books Read: 1 Read this Year: 0

Liesl | 485 comments I like this idea for a challenge as I often want to revisit both authors I have already read and also some novels that I have read along time ago.

The women I would like to revisit this year are:

Jane Austen
George Eliot
Christine Brooke-Rose
Arundhati Roy
