Bosch and Soto were working the Merced and Bonnie Brae cases at the same time. Were you able to keep track of the investigations, especially since the Bonnie Brae case ended up connecting to another case?

Michael Connelly did a good job at letting us know exactly which investigation Bosch and Soto were working on in each chapter. I didn't have any problem following the cases.

I thought he did a good job separating the two cases. The transitions were handle well with good pacing on the audio version. When the bank robbery and the Bonnie Brae fire connected, I got worried that the Merced shooting would have a tie in (thankfully not).

I agree that Connelly did a good job separating the threads out and made it easy to follow.

@Jonetta - I was also waiting for a link between the cases, but it was all resolved satisfactorily.
