This book is sad and confusing. However, if you stick it out to the end, you will not be sorry. All that has happened will become clearer and you will have 'aha' moments even a little while after you are done. Beth is young, but has been through so much. Her twin, Ben, seems to have pretty much lived it with her through each step regardless of the impact on his own life. Trick is Ben's best friend and everything in the world in Beth's eyes. He has also endured so much. The dedication and love this trio have for one another is touching.
