Hamlet for the twenty-first century and set in London, as witnessed by an unborn child, who refers to himself as a foetus. In fact, the title comes from something in Hamlet, and the womb is the narrator's nutshell. The writing is excellent and is why this doesn't have fewer stars, but bear in mind that I don't care for Shakespeare's Hamlet, either.
All this said, I think there are plenty of people who will like this much better than I did.
