I admit I don't know how prescriptions work in the USA, but I don't think there could be such a thing as a legal prescription for a general anaesthetic to be administered in the patient's home. Referring to Michel Jackson's propofol (aka milk of amnesia) as a "prescription drug" is stretching definitions a bit. After all, diacetylmorphine (heroin) is available on prescription but I don't think anyone would refer to the average smackhead as being addicted to prescription drugs.
