The below are reading schedules adapted from other Annual Proust groups. These schedules include two translations, and Kindle editions. Readers can move at whatever pace they like, but a weekly reading schedule may help some readers to pace themselves, as well as facilitate shared discussions of our progress.

Afton | 1 comments Is there a new 2019 group?

Elizabeth | 202 comments Same one as last year, I guess; a couple of us are still slogging away (sorry, Marcel).

Guy Aron | 6 comments The reading schedule is great! Just what I thought I would have to develop for myself. Now I can put it on the fridge.

April | 245 comments I have no schedule, just keep reading, till finish, before I die!

message 8: by Guy (new)

Guy Aron | 6 comments Actually, I am way behind in this schedule. I had gastro-enteritis for about a fortnight and needed things to read that didn't require so much concentration. I am still finishing those things off!

message 9: by MN (new)

MN (mnfife) | 19 comments Is this group still functioning? I decided to read Proust this summer (2019) and am about to start The Guermantes Way. I've loved what I've read to date, and would very much like to find someone to mull over the text with.

message 10: by Pen (new)

Pen Million | 1 comments I don't know if this group is still functioning but like you, I clicked on to join this group.

message 11: by Guy (new)

Guy Aron | 6 comments I have rather lost the plot (no pun intended) with ISOLT. However, I will pick up the thread again and we can be a group of three!

I have the Moncrieff in a couple of versions, but would like to try the Lydia Davis translation of Guermantes Way. What translations are you guys reading?

message 12: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 202 comments I'm here. I've read it more times than I can count. Different translations are good. Moncrieff is wonderful, but he's too prissy to translate some of the earthier passages.

message 13: by MN (new)

MN (mnfife) | 19 comments Oh! Good! I'm delighted there are others about.

I'm reading the Moncrieff/Kilmartin translation.
