Series numbering - Daros Chronicles

This may have been done correctly, but I'm not sure so am posting for librarians to look at.

The author originally published this as a serialized novel where the chapters were available for purchase as they were published.
That was set up as Daros Chronicles Book 1 Serial Series.

Those chapters were then combined into Pawns and Puzzles as a single book.
The sequel to Pawns and Puzzles is Fate or Folly which does not appear to have been published as a serial, just as the full book. (I'm basing this on the author's website which mentions the serialization of the first book but doesn't mention that for the second one.)

Daros Chronicles Series (different series than above) has the two books as primary works and the chapters as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc., but it doesn't mention that they are included in book 1 which might lead someone to look for them as separate material coming between the two novels.

Since the first book was meant to be a serialized novel, it wouldn't normally be considered an omnibus. Is the numbering of the non-primary works correct?
