Wanted to be able to start on a challenge on New Years Day. Maybe if I start off with a leap I will complete all 7 challenges this year!

I feel like I'm cheating if I set a goal for a category I know I'm going to "win". I know I'm going to read serial books, and I know I'll borrow most of the books I read from the library. But it is nice to be able to pat myself on the back at the end of the year and say "I did it" at least once or twice. So I'll keep Serial Eyes but work on the ones I have trouble with:

I feel this way about Hear Ye! Hear Ye!. It used to be that I rarely listened to a book Now I try to find everything on CD, Hoopla or MCLS, even YouTube, before I resort to a print book. I get so many more completed when I listen while doing other things...not having to devote my time exclusively to sitting down to read.

Never-the-less I am still shelving them as Hear Ye...so I may as well keep track of them in a challenge widget.

I stopped entering the Where's Your Card? challenge because I stopped buying books and use the library almost all the time. Home Alone...Now that's a problem.

Exactly! Home Alone and eDingus are my most difficult to accomplish. I own the books in some form (print or kindle) so they just lay there gathering dust...no hurry to get to them. I reall need to work on them.

I think that is part of the reason for me too, plus all the new books that sound SO interesting. Then I put a bunch of them on hold at the library and it seems as if they all come in at the same time. The other day I had 6 that had arrived from other library branches.
