Smasher | 4 comments In 2017, I aimed for 12 books and read 13.

Now it's time to up the ante:

2018 goals:

at least THIRTY BOOKS
at least THIRTEEN THOUSAND PAGES

LET'S DO THIS!

Smasher | 4 comments I will start with the following books that I already own but have not read yet. I'm forbidding myself from purchasing any more books - or even borrowing anything for the library - until I have drastically reduced my unread stockpile at home.

These will account for my first eleven books and first 4075 pages. I will aim to complete this list by the end of April 2018.

1. The Crossroads - Ammaniti, Niccolò - 406 pp

2. The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine - Pappé, Ilan - 320 pp

3. Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood (Persepolis, #1) - Satrapi, Marjane - 153 pp

4. The Brain That Changes Itself: Stories of Personal Triumph from the Frontiers of Brain Science - Doidge, Norman - 427 pp

5. The Iron Wall: Israel and the Arab World - Shlaim, Avi - 704 pp

6. Sexing the Body: Gender Politics and the Construction of Sexuality - Fausto-Sterling, Anne - 496 pp

7. Jandamarra & the Bunuba Resistance: A True Australian Hero -
Pedersen, Howard - 228 pp

8. Myths of Gender: Biological Theories about Women and Men - Fausto-Sterling, Anne - 320 pp

9. The History of Sexuality, Volume 1: An Introduction - Foucault, Michel - 176 pp

10. Middlesex - Eugenides, Jeffrey - 529 pp

11. Hey Mum, What's a Half-Caste? - McGee-Sippel, Lorraine - 316 pp
