Charlie sat in her corner, the one she claimed for herself and made a bed of straw in. This corner was where she kept a watchful eye on everyone in the cell, not that there were many to keep an eye on. She sat with her back against the wall, up straight as a board, knees up, despite the fact that that position left nothing under her dress to the imagination. Her hands idly played with her stockings, running over the stripes with her fingers. There were strands of hair in her face, but she made no move to push them out of it. She seemed almost startlingly calm about being locked up in a cage with very little on.

After Zoya was stripped of her clothes and given the stockings and down she made her way that was being lead to her by what was called chasers. She looked in the corner and saw a girl that had lifted her legs up and she could see under neath it. She shivered and looked back at the chasers. "Looks like I'm not the first girl you brought here." Zoya muttered. She looked back at the girl as she was being shoved into the cell with her.

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

The girl with red hair gave a curious glance at the blonde whom came in the room. She's rather pretty, a voice in Charlie's head spoke up. "I suppose she is, mum. I like her hair especially. I can't grown my hair out that long, no matter what I do." She gave a slight smile, not moving from her position, but giving a little wave in the middle of her speech with herself. "I wonder what on earth a girl like her could be doing in a place like this. I may ask if she decides to strike up a conversation."

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya looked at the girl with confusion, but then decided against it. Her sister often did the same thing so she knew not to question it. "How long have you been here?" She did ask.
The girl was rather pretty, even if they were in an asylum. But the thought quickly went away when her eyes again caught sight of her legs exposed. She looked away, towards rats that were in the corner.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Cocking her head to the side, Charlie pondered the question. "Well, I don't have any way of telling time, nor do I know the exact date, so I really have no way of telling you how long," she paused, staring straight ahead, then gave a little twitch. "It can't be more than a week or two, I think. At least, it hasn't felt like that long." She shrugged. She shifted her position, so that her legs were now under her, a more decent position. "Tell me, why are they shoving such a pretty looking girl in here?"

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya shrugged, "I think it was mainly because of my family's reputation. They threw me in her, and I don't think I'm ever getting out." She left out the part were she put herself in her. But she never did actually say why she needed to be put in her they simply processed her to this cell block with out any questions. "Why what did you do?@

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie didn't question it, nor did she likely really care. "I can talk to the dead, and they don't seem to believe me... also, people apparently don't like it when you try to spare them from yourself." She didn't go into detail, didn't think she needed to. Her business was her own, and a lot of her story included naughty details and sharp objects, and she really didn't want to get into it. "So basically, I'm in here because some people got tired of dealing with me, and sent me away."

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya sighed. "That usually how it is." She looked around the cell block once more. She could see rats on either side of her feet. "Is it always so depressing here? I mean we are in an asylum but seriously. At least make it brighter in her." She complained.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie let out a soft chuckle at that, staring at the girl curiously. "You're an interesting character." It's almost as if nothing is wrong with her at all, unlike you. You know trying to kill yourself is wrong, so I don't see why you'd do it. You got yourself into this mess. "Yes, mum, I'm well aware of how I got myself into this place... don't scold me like that. I don't like it when you bitch and don't show yourself either, and you know it. Excuse my french," she directed the last comment at the blonde.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya wasn't as confused as she was before. But she decided to play along. "What's your moms name?" She asked. Zoya's first day and already asking questions like a maniac. She say that the red head had a bed all to herself, she die coded to make a bed out of straw not far from her. She seemed nice enough, and she knew it was a good idea to make friends in this place.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie smiled as the girl asked her question. Chit-chat was nice every once in a while, for sure. "Angela... my father used her name as my middle name. Isn't that funny, considering I'm technically the one who killed her?" She was very blunt about what she said, that was obvious. She held nothing back. "And what would your name be, dear?"

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya clenched her jaw, but she did her best to look like she wasn't fazed by it. "My mother and father named me Zoya. They told me, and I quote. The sea spoke to them in unison, claiming that my name meant something special. I just think it's a bunch of rubbish."

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

"So... your family is a little coo-coo, am I right to assume?" Charlie smirked ever so slightly. "And no, I did not kill her on purpose, if that's what you clenched your jaw for. It was during childbirth in which my mother met her end..." She began to absentmindedly tap her nails against her stocking clad legs. "My name is Charlie, but you may call me Her Majesty."

message 14: by Killjoy (new)

Killjoy | 2 comments Eliza was sitting with her back against the wall of her cell, mumbling every now and then to seemingly no one. She had moved all of the nasty hay over to the side and was sitting on the cold floor. It was sick the way the people here were just treated like animals, true some were, but still. It just didn't seem right to her. She has been her for a while now, too long, as she put it.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya looked around the room, her eyes looking at all of the other inmates. What have I gotten myself into this time? Zoya thought to herself, she had worried eyes as she turned them back to Charlie, "I don't think it was you who killed her, and if you didn't it wasn't on purpose." She mumbled. She knew it was the wrong thing to say but she had to say it.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie shrugged and looked over to her other cell mates, whom she hardly talked to in her time here. Zoya was the first to really strike up any sort of real conversation. Char briefly wondered if it was just the block she was in, but who knew. They say the more floors up you go, the crazier you are. These girls here were minor in comparison. She almost felt bad. These girls probably didn't really deserve to be locked up. It's likely that they're here simply because of family who was tired of dealing with them. Charlie was too, but... well, she didn't mind saying there was something wrong with her. There was, and it was really no use denying it. She wondered if the other girls felt the same.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya didn't know what else to say, but she walked closer to the bed, "Would you mind if I sit down?" She asked, she didn't know writhed this girl was going to attack her, or become her friend, both was likely.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie wasn't fond of people getting too close without her permission, so when Zoya asked before actually sitting down, even though she did take a few steps toward her, she gave a little nod. As long as the girl didn't try to touch her unexpectedly, they'd get along just fine. She highly doubted the blonde would anyhow.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya sat down on the hay bed, she leaned against the wall, and looked off into the distance. They both sat like that for a while, not saying anything not even moving. Zoya finally broke the silence, "No one ever leaves do they? We all just ... Waste away to nothing, alone." She said sadly with tears shielding her eyes.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie smirked at Zoya's comment, and it turned into a little giggle as Lucy reacted in such a way. She looked at the girl behind the bars on the other side of the block. "Oh, lighten up, dear. They all think we're crazy anyway, so what's a little rumour from a crazy going to do to them? It's only a problem if the girl saying them actually cares enough to do something about it, am I right?" She was surprised this sort of thing caught the little girl's attention and made her actually look concerned. Usually she sits quietly, but for some reason she seemed genuinely scared about what Zoya said. Sure, it may be true- Charlie could already tell she wasn't getting out of here, as she really had no where to go and she knew she wasn't normal enough for their fabricated society- but she certainly was acting strange for something said by a new girl no one but Charlie herself paid much mind to.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya admitted to herself that she was a little scared from the remark, but she wasn't going to tell anyone else that. "Like her majesty said, I wasn't going to plan on confronting them about it, I was just making a statement." She put a bit of harshness in her tone, she knew that people had to be rough to survive, she saw that at first glance.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie liked that the girl used her silly nickname so easily. She was going to like Zoya, quite a bit. Lucy was as odd as ever though. With the way she acted, it was surprising she wasn't in a higher block... or maybe she wasn't dangerous enough. Who knew? Charlie shrugged it off mentally and started to pick at her stockings, leaning her head against the wall. "Guess we won't talking about it then..." Oh, how you would love to see what they would do if you talked like Lucy said not to. It wasn't just her mother's voice this time. There were echoed whispers and the commotion in her head started to make her cringe. The noises started to manifest into people all around. Little ghosts floating through the cells.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya leaned back against the wall, as she mentally told herself that the doctors couldn't be as bad as they were letting on, she then looked at her stockings and raggedy gown and began to once over her thoughts. "They can't tell me to not talk about it." She began to say, "If we are going to be locked up in this hell hole for the rest of are lives then they must at least let us speak to truth." She spat, out as if venom was dripping out of her mouth.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

((Hey Zwinky can you bring one of your docs to quarantine? It's getting crickets))

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie really liked this girl's spunk. The blonde was strong-willed and that was a fine quality, in her opinion. Her Majesty let out a soft chuckle, but didn't say a word in reply. She wwas smarter than that. She knew better than to claim the doctors could do something. That only spurred them on to do it. Who knew? Someone could be told to stitch the girl's mouth shut, or rip out her vocal chords. Really, that was an entertaining thought. But she kept her mouth shut. If the girl wanted to go about saying things that could get her into trouble, best to stay out of it. After a while, she finally shifted her position and pulled her arms out of the sleeves of her gown, letting her breasts hold it up. She said nothing as to explain why, but a soft sigh escaped her lips and she rubbed at her shoulders.

message 26: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 07, 2014 07:33AM) (new)

Zoya looked at the girl on the opposite side of the cell. Nothing was happening, only the talks of cruelty toward inmates, and Zoya couldn't handle talking about that. She then put her head in her hands and groaned, "This is to depressing." She mumbled. She looked back up and saw a rat crawl across the floor, she picked up the rat on a whim. She tossed it in the air and caught it again. "Hey Your majesty?" She turned back to her with a smile on her face. "Want to have a little fun?"

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie had her eyes closed, but at the call of her nickname, she opened them a crack. When the question of fun came from Zoya's mouth, a soft smirk was placed onto Charlie's lips. "And what exactly do you mean by fun, dear?" she asked with a cock of her head. Her eyes opened wider and she sat up a bit to roll her shoulders.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoya let out a soft chuckle, she turned to the bars of the cell, "Well lets just hope your not afraid of rats." She threw the rat at a chaser that was down a ways, his back was turned sow when the rat hit him he shrieked and crawled at his back. Zoya ran quickly to the makeshift bed and closed her eyes to pretend she was sleeping. "Close your eyes." She whispered to Charlie.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie couldn't help the smirk and giggle that came from her lips as the girl threw the rat. She did as she was told and leaned against the wall as if she were asleep, even adding a soft snore. The chaser would be pissed, but hey, not such a bad thing. Zoya was right. This could be fun.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

((I'm about to leave to take a test, so i'll be back in a few hours. :3))

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

((It's okay ^^))
Zoya pretended to get up from her deep sleep, and as soon as she saw the poor girl get beaten for it, a small chuckle escaped her lips. "I think he's a little mad your majesty." She whispered to Charlie.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

((I know ^~^;))

Charlie almost felt bad as she opened her eyes to see Lucy getting yelled at. She didn't really do anything anyway. Without replying to Zoya, Charlie spat out at the angry guard. "Oi, ugly peasant! What's got your britches in a bundle?" She cocked her head, face void of any real emotion.

message 33: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 07, 2014 02:11PM) (new)

Zoya giggled and hoped up from the bed, "Suppose we have another go?" She asked Charlie. She turned and grabbed another rat, it squealed in her hands as she held it out for Charlie. She wasn't really worried about the girl, someone had to take the blame, wither it be her, or anyone else.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Charlie wondered briefly if her throwing it was a good idea, but then again, if she got hurt, did she care? She grabbed the disgusting creature and moved over to the bars, waiting until she knew he wasn't looking before throwing the squealing rat with nearly perfect trajectory.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

"Come back come back." She said in a giggle/whisper. She moved to her original position, and patted the spot beside her. Zoya was having fun, which is something she thought would never happen in the asylum. She turned to Lucy with a determined look on her face. "You might want to 'sleep' this time." She closed her eyes and laid her head against the wall letting her smile drop.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

((You may do as you want ^^))
