I also have a book with me all the time. I read on my lunch hour at work, while waiting at appointments, etc. I guess my favorite place to read is in bed or in the comfy chair in the family room (if I can get Jeff out of it!)

Some of my favorite spots include the bathtub, the couch, the front porch, my parent's house, my childhood bedroom, my bed, the car (red lights only), work.

In the hosue, it would be in front of my wood stove in the cool monts or on the back deck in warm months...always in bed before sleep..."
I read while watching TV too!!! I used to love commuting on the train, I got so much reading done! (Can't read in a car, I get horribly ill).

I also love "reading" books on tape on my iPod while taking long walks.

I read in bed and on the subway. I'm to distracted by my pets to read anywhere else.

When I used to work, I always read during lunch. Sometimes, the mornings would be crazy because I would be scrambling to find a book and if I could not before I ate lunch I would have to run to the bookstore (used). I would never go out for lunch with the girls, but would rather sit in my car and read.

I love to multi-task, so I read pretty much anywhere and everywhere.I read while I'm eating, waiting for appointments, in between classes, blowdrying and straight-ironing my hair, waiting for the kids at the bus stop, and on my couch while I'm sitting next to my hubby watching TV. In fact, I'm so used to reading while I'm doing something else, that I don't like to just sit and read. It feels like I should be doing something. I also listen to audio books while I'm driving in the car.

If I'm into a book, I'll read it nonstop. Very very dangerous.

At home, in the winter, I tend to read on this really comfy chair in front of my fireplace. In the spring/summer, I prefer to read outside on our patio.
Now that I have my BlackBerry with Mobipocket on it there is not a place I do not read (except for the bathroom... there was a mishap with drawing a bath for myself... :o!) I do have hardcopies that I can read in the bath, but I prefer my blackberry... I read on the bus, I will read in line at the grocery store if it is busy and I have to wait, I will have my nose in my blackberry pretty much anytime that I am not a) at a social function, b) Out with Byron, C) at work or driving and d) in the bathroom.... lol, I'll have my nose pressed into my blackberry while waiting for the ATM, ect... it's BAD!

I read mostly on the couch at home, rarely in bed because it hurts my neck. Sadly, I am always getting my books wet or dirty(I eat whilst reading)or the baby will get ahold of my book and tear or chew a page(he is worse than a puppy).

Oh wow I NEVER thought of that? How do you get them?

I've spent three periods of three months in the hospital over the last couple of years, and I find that reading in my room there is very effective. I never read as much as I do at the hospital. Probably because it takes my mind of the real issues, and that I have much more time on my hands, but I don't work and I don't have children, so at home I don't do much other than reading either. But in the apartment distractions always happen, like cleaning and cooking and taking care of my boyfriend who is much like a baby.
When I am at home, I mostly read on the sofa when he's at school.

Now on the other hand, if I can't turn the pages fast enough cause a book is so good...I can stay up half the night reading!

as long as its a really good book lol.

Anywhere and everywhere. My favorite spot is the bathtub, though, because my family knows not to interrupt me even if I'm soaking in there for hours.

Thanks Holli! I was going to try it out with my kindle which would lack the page crumply issue but after a google search there appears to be multiple theroies on it's ability to electrocute. I decided to ere on the side of caution.

Oh, and I'm another one who reads while watching TV or movies. My husband says it's weird, but I've gotten pretty good at it!
