I'm Katherine, Kitty for short, she/her/hers pronouns.
I'm a transgender lady living in the Pacific Northwest with some pretty eclectic tastes in literature. I like to say that I'll try to read anything at least once, and the only things that I've so far had to put aside before I finished were Michael Savage and Ann Coulter. I tend to go where the mood strikes when it comes to what I'm reading at any given time, but I usually have at least one non-fiction book and one fiction book going simultaneously, because I just can't settle on one single book for too long.
I'm staff at my local university, for lack of a better term, I'm an archivist in the Registrar's office. I adore history and love losing myself in the old records, reading about the lives of students a hundred years ago. It's a great job, and a great place to work while I (finally) finish my bachelors degrees. Yep, both. One in Emerging Media and Digital Art, and the other in Studio Art. What am I going to do with them? Hell if I know.
Me and my wife have been happily married for 17 years, and she's been my rock through my transition. We live together with our four cats and library of books.
Happy to be here, and I look forward to meeting folks.
