Final thoughts! What did you think of the ending? Do you think that Lincoln needed to tell Beth about reading the emails? Is that something you could get over? And do you think it's possible to fall in love the way that they did?

Katie (keschultz) I think he did need to tell her but I also think she was a little hard on him. I'm glad that she semi-stalked him because then they were both guilty of being sort of creepy. I think that his e-mail reading was canceled out by her following him.

I was hoping the note would say "Hi I'm the guy who reads your email...and I'm in love with you"...I was waiting for that since it was printed on the back of the book.

All in all, loved the book...another great choice. Can't wait to read next month's book.

Deborah (deborahsplans) I thought the book started a bit slow but then I realized I couldn't put it down!! It just flowed so well!

I agree with Katie that he needed to tell her and they were both creepy since she followed him too. I understood why he needed to tell her. He didn't want that to ruin anything later on in their relationship. But you could tell Beth was having a hard time with it. It was like he already knew everything and they couldn't start from scratch. Learning everything about each other as time went on.

I think it's definitely possible to fall in love the way they did. People do it all the time. With the internet what it is today, you can practically have a long term relationship with someone you've never met. I'm not saying it's realistic, I'm just saying it could happen. #Catfish lol

I read the part about Beth stalking him the the theater so many times, then I read it aloud to my bf. I was crying out of laughter OMG. I was looking for that line too! I really really wanted it to be in his note to her and so I felt kinda let down by that.

Thanks for being such an active member of the book club, Katie! Will you be joining us in reviewing the book tomorrow?

I was so afraid that she'd be too freaked out to give him a shot so part of me was like "no!" But you and Katie are right, he needed to tell her. He got to know her through the emails in such a personal and different way than maybe he would've via regular dating and it would be unfair to have that knowledge without telling her.

For me, Lincoln falling in love with her was totally believable. He knew her, in some way the darker parts of her life (dealing with a friend's sadness, thinking through a deteriorating relationship, passive aggressive relationship with her sister). It was Beth being in love with him that I found a little hard to believe. What did she even really know about him aside from him being her Cute Guy that was really nice to both Doris and her best friend? Still glad they ended up together!

lol #Catfish. You're silly. #Yourethebest

I actually like that this book club doesn't have thousands of members, I feel like I can keep up on the conversations where some of the larger groups just have too many new comments per day and you never really get to see the point of view and personalities of the other members.

I only review the books on goodreads & amazon. I actually don't have a blog like I see you guys do.
I started one for healthy living about a year ago (I'm a nutritionist and personal trainer) but it was kind of a fail. I love reading your blogs though :)
