It does lead me to ask this question. Kundera's fiction, though playful, tends to wear its philosophy on its sleeve. (So do The Matrix and Dark City. Is it possible to write fiction that's so playful that it fully conceals the philosophy (without eliminating it)? Can anyone think of an example of this?
