Melissa Jensen (kdragon) | 468 comments Let's have a little fun. Pick one of your stories, any story - one you've written, one you're writing, or even one you just thought up. Next, describe it in a single sentence starting with "It's like..."

Here's some of mine as an example.

It's like Mad Max only on another planet with giant killer robots.

It's like an explosion of swords, magic, and mechanical zombies.

It's like What's Eating Gilbert Grape meets Lord of the Flies... and a bunch of other stuff. But, it's nothing like The Breakfast Club. (Okay, it is, but do not tell the main characters that).

Another is like James Thurber and Kurt Vonnegut co-wrote a Twilight Zone episode.

You've got the winning one! :D

Written: It's like a witch hunter Jason Bourne turning Bear Grylls in Wonderland.

Writing: It's like a classic Poirot one-room investigation in the future.

Just thought up: It's like the other ones I always forget to write down...
