Beforehand could you please explain the series numbering to me.

Are books 1.01, 1.02 and 1.03 contained in 1.0X?

Hello, Sherlock Holmes is a range which has a series of stories.

The first set of seasons 1 - 2 were individual releases followed by boxsets of stores with two specials releases. so 1.01, 1.02 and 1.03 are individual and 1.0X is the special.

Series 6 consists of this special 6X released today and 6. is out in March.

So:

1.0X contains 1.01 to 1.03

Sherlock Holmes: The Adventure of the Perfidious Mariner contains 2.01 to 2.04

then there is 3 to 5.

Will 6 contain 6X or are those two parts of the same book?

Where in this consequence does The Worlds of Big Finish fit?

(I've added book 5 and 6x to the series but 6X is left unnumbered for now)

I don't think that is correct. But I also see no reason why we would number these as the publisher does, with seasons. And certainly no reason for double-digit decimals.

Rather, why not number them #1-#14?

Thanks rivka. That is why I was inquiring. I was not sure all of the works were main works but checking the length you are right. The X- are not omnibus collection and I'm not sure what specials means in this case so 1-13 seems fine proper.
