Is imprisoned for hurting/killing a soldier who tried to rape her
A womon dying of tb? Takes her place in the hanging in order for J to safely take her young daughter ( who is very prim and proper and hates J who is very crude and non girly) to her paternal grandparents. The girl's cousin are trying tokill her.
Hero.... is the girl's uncle who is searching for her.
