Alan | 542 comments I can’t remember my worst book but undoubtably my best was The Lonely Hearts Hoteleven with the horribly repetitive rose imagery,O’Neils imagination and compassion astonishes me.

Now I remember the worst-The Woman in Cabin 10,Just dreadful. And just when I want to scream please no more women or girls in titles, there is already a new one that is being touted as the current must read. Please, turn it off!

Petra | 707 comments Alan, I couldn't even finish The Woman In Cabin 10. I tried the audio and couldn't take it after she got on the ship. I'm more tolerant of bad audios than I am of bad print books but this one was bad.

Allison ༻hikes the bookwoods༺ (allisonhikesthebookwoods) | 1782 comments Oh my God, The Woman in Cabin 10 was soooo frustrating! The main character could never thing clearly because she was always drunk or exhausted. It drove me crazy.

Colleen | 74 comments I didn't even bother with The Woman in Cabin 10. Too many folks whose opinion I respect panned it. And I couldn't agree with you more @Alan re: "the girl" in titles. Enough already!

Michael | 17 comments Best book: "Minds of Winter" by Ed O'Loughlin - an epic tale of the dangerous quest to discover the Northwest Passage and the price paid by those who made the attempt. Worst book: "Brother" by David Chariandy - highly praised as a "powerful elegy" but never engaged me.
