“Then why’d you break up with me?” Chandler asked. But before she could respond Rachel came outside. Her usual smile faded away when she realized Chandler was with Eva. Who looked like she had been crying. Rachel tugged on the bottom of her gold dress and frowned. “Babe come back inside. People are asking about you.” Chandler nodded. He let Rachel take his hand and he walked back towards the shop. He stared at Eva for a moment longer before going inside.

((Do you want me to write like she wakes up and they’re still together now?))
Chandler tossed and turned in bed. He couldn’t feel Eva at first and he started waking up. He leaned up in bed and opened his eyes. He saw that she was just asleep on the edge of the bed and he pulled her small frame back next to him. He kissed her cheek and then he started kissing her neck. He ran his fingers through her long thick black hair. “Merry Christmas babe.” He whispered into her neck. He wanted to wake her up slowly to kisses like he always did on holidays.

“What do you mean why am I here? I live here and so do you. We’re in our apartment.” Chandler said confused. He got out of bed and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Babe why are you acting so strange? Did you have a nightmare?” He asked confused. He tried to pull her back to bed. “It’s still late. I just couldn’t feel you next to me that’s why I woke you up. Do you need to keep resting?” He asked trying to get her to lay back down. He felt her forehead to see if she had a fever but she felt fine. “Seriously what’s wrong baby?” He asked Eva genuinely confused.

“Who the hell is Rachel? Where would I go babe? Back to Australia?” Chandler said confused. He laid down and stared at the ceiling. “Did you drink before going to bed again?” Chandler said looking at her. He knew Eva always acted weird if she drank a lot and then went to sleep. Their Christmas Eve party did get a little wild last night but she promised not to drink. “Are you sure you feel okay?” Chandler said leaning up again.

“It’s Christmas darling. Didn’t you expect under the tree to be full?” Chandler laughed, thinking that was what she was confused about. He got out of bed and pulled on a shirt. He walked out into the living room behind her. His tall frame towering over hers. “I was hoping to wait until morning but if you want to open gifts now we can. We can start a new tradition.” Chandler said smiling. He turned on the fire place and sat next to the tree. He picked up one of the wrapped presents and handed it out to Eva. “I know you celebrate Kwanza, but I still wanted to get you some things for Christmas.” He said smiling. “Go ahead and open it.”

Chandler laughed and tapped on the box. "Babe you already have it halfway open. Just finish opening it." He said, his accent thick. The warmth of the fire place swirled around their living room. It made their New Orleans apartment so cozy this time of year. It made it felt like home. Like they were building a home together. Chandler was so happy to be in this moment with Eva, opening Christmas presents. But he wondered why she woke up so confused, and just brushed off the way she was acting like nothing happened.

"I just knew. You're easy to figure out sometimes." Chandler laughed and pulled Eva closer to him. He kissed both of her cheeks before kissing her lips. "You're welcome baby." He said before kissing her again. ((Sorry for length))

Chandler got up and gave her some space. "What do you mean we haven't kissed in awhile? We made love before we fell asleep last night." He looked out of the window of their living room and then back at her. "Babe you're acting really strange. Did you hit your head or something? Do you want to go to the emergency room? I'm getting worried." Chandler said actually concerned. He walked over to the kitchen counter and leaned on it, looking down at Eva. "Are you sure you're okay? You can be honest and tell me if you don't feel good. It's okay to be sick on a holiday love." Chandler said. He was really worried about her. She had never seemed to suffer from amnesia like she was right now before. "So really, did you hit your head or something?" He asked. He was about to touch her arm but he didn't want to freak her out even more. He had to be careful about how he touched her in case she was really struggling to remember things.

Chandler sighed. “Eva seriously whatever game you’re playing is not funny anymore. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I was with you all night long. I’m not pretending about anything I’ve said. We spent all of yesterday and all of last night together.” He said. He tried to come closer to her. He tried to give her a hug but he could since that something wasn’t right. “How do you not remember any of this? I’m taking you to the doctor. Get dressed.”

Chandler was left standing in the kitchen. He ran a hand through his hair confused. What in the world was going on with Eva? Why was she acting so weird? Did he wake up in an alternate universe or something? Did she? He frowned and washed the cup she drank out of. He cleaned up the wrapping paper from her gift and went and took a shower. He put on sweat pants and a nike t-shirt. He worked on Curve graphics and designs not having anything else to do. It was Christmas for heavens sake, nothing was open. Eventually he grew tired of working. He decided to look into the Eva thing more. He decided to text Jared about the Christmas Eve party.
Chandler: Dude we did have a party last night right? Everyone was there right? Eva, James, Sinclair, Hillary, Diamond, Jessica?
Jared: Yeah man. Everyone was there! It was at The Basement. Did you and Eva get that messed up last night that you can't remember? Merry Christmas btw.
Chandler: Merry Christmas. Eva is acting strange. She swears we weren't together yesterday. Like at all, like the party never happened. She thinks I was in a relationship with some woman named Rachel.
Jared: Who's Rachel? lol?
Chandler: I have no fing clue mate. I'm so confused. Can you contact Diamond? To see what she remembers about last night. I don't have her number.
Jared: Yeah man. I remember seeing y'all. I'll see if Diamond is having amnesia too.
Chandler sighed and wondered what was going on. If Jared remembered the party, why couldn't Eva. Was she drugged?

Diamond: Well yeah, ofc i remember the party last night.. But Eva just got here so i will see whats going on with her.
Eva got out the car and sat next to her sister. She told her what happened. "Well.. I hate to say this but.. E.. He is right girl." She said. "Maybe, you just had a bad dream.. That felt real, you know." She added as she played with her freshly done nails. Eva first felt like her sister was siding with Chandler but, she knew Dee to well, she wouldn't say something that wasn't true. Eva and her parents were on speaking terms, which was weird for her to. She couldn't remember the last time she could talk to them without it ending in argument.
It was midnight by time Eva decided to go home, she actually loved spending time with her whole family. She had everyone that she cared about in her life. Diamond, Chandler and even her parents. She headed home, she stopped and got Chandler a gifted even though she didn't do Christmas she thought since Chandler got her something. She minds well get him something. She then went home. She unlocked the door and walked into the apartment. "Chandler..." She said as she closed the door. Hiding the gifted behind her back.
Chandler walked out of their bedroom into the living room and smiled when he saw Eva. "Look who's feeling better?" He asked and said the statement with some form of hope. He wanted her to be feeling better and back to normal. But he wasn't quite sure how she felt. He walked into the kitchen and kissed her forehead. Trying to take things slow still, worried about if she would freak out again. He laughed when he saw her trying to hide a gift behind her back. "Eva, I'm like two whole feet taller than you. I could see that box from a mile away." He said laughing. "What is it?" He said trying to snatch the box away from her as she jokingly moved it around so he couldn't.

"Please babe..." He begged as he sat down next to her. He pulled on one of her feet and pulled her closer to him. She seemed to be back to her normal self, and Chandler couldn't resist flirting like he normally would. "Please baby?" He asked again waiting for her to hand him the box.

Chandler smiled when he pulled out a red supreme hoodie. “Aww thanks babe. I love these.” And he was telling the truth. Although Chandler was basically a fashion designer he loved a good pair of sweats. Eva knew he loved being comfy around the house if he didn’t have to go anywhere and he was happy she thought to get that gift. “I really like it babe.” He said pulling off the plain grey hoodie he had on and putting on his new one. “How was Diamond?” He asked. He really wanted to ask her about why she was acting so weird earlier, but he didn’t want to scare her away. He kissed her cheek and waited for her answer.

Chandler noticed when she moved away from him but he didn't say anything. He also didn't try to get her to stay close to him. He just smiled when she started talking about Diamond. "She'll tell you when she's ready. Remember you kept us a secret from her for a while too. You can't be a hypocrite babe." He joked. He remembered when they first started dating. They didn't want anyone to ruin the freshness and spontaneity that their relationship had.

"Are you sure you're okay Eva?" Chandler asked for what seemed like the millionth time. He could tell that her thoughts were somewhere else. Not that he wasn't okay with her thinking things through by herself, but he really wished that she could be constant right now. Like take the moment of just spending a holiday together in. Holidays meant a lot to Chandler. Especially because he didn't live in Australia anymore and couldn't see his family whenever he wanted. Although he loved New Orleans, he wished his parents were just a ten minute drive away like they were when he first moved out. But now he had to facetime his parents and his brother or text them to talk about the holiday.

"I love you too sweetheart." His accent was thick. It was because he was getting sleepy and whenever he was really sick or tired he sounded like he just left Australia the day before. He kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist. She was so small compared to him it was adorable. He held her close and kept kissing her. Her lips, her cheeks, her forehead, her neck. She was starting to feel like the loving Eva he knew and he was excited to have her back. He loved every bit of her and was always willing to show her. "I-I lo-vee youuuu tooo." He said again through muffled words and kisses, not wanting to pull away from her. He took her hair down and started to run his hands through it. It was just as soft as he remembered. Yeah, this was definitely his Eva. His perfect, attractive, loving, kind, musical genius girlfriend. She was fading back into the girl he remembered. He hoped that she remembered him fully, and wasn't just pretending.
((How did you want this to progress? Like the next morning she wakes up to how she originally remembered things to be?))
Chandler woke up the morning after the launch feeling exhausted. He drank entirely too much after seeing Eva and Rachel couldn't calm him down at all. She tried to come home with him but he brushed her off and took an uber home, leaving his Range near the Curve store. Jared had tried to contact him as well but Chandler ignored his calls and texts. He was still upset about how Jared acted when they were meeting Wilson and Eva came in the room. Best friends could really suck sometimes. Chandler pulled himself out of bed and struggled through his shower. Once he got out and dried off he shaved his fast growing beard wanting to feel more clean. He wiped off his face and stared at himself in the mirror for a second. He sighed, thinking about all the healing Eva and him needed to go through to get back to where they used to be. But he also didn't know if he was ready to break things off with Rachel. They were never official, but they were definitely in some kind of weird relationship. He liked her a lot, he could even see himself loving her one day. But he knew he loved Eva, and that was never going to change.
Chandler's thinking session was interrupted but the doorbell. He pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a curve shirt quickly. He ran a hand through his wet hair and headed out into the living room. He opened the door without looking through the peephole and saw Rachel. She looked as if she had been crying, but she was just as beautiful as ever. "What's wrong babe?" He asked letting her come into his apartment. "I had the worst dream last night. I dreamt that you weren't in my life, but I could watch you and Eva being happy together." Rachel said. She started crying again. Her long brown hair swayed behind her back as she plopped down on Chandler's couch. "I think that's a sign. Especially after you saw her yesterday." She said through muffled tears. "I think this is over Chandler. Whatever we've been doing needs to end. I know you still love her." She said.
Chandler closed the door. He had been standing there in shock the entire time Rachel had been speaking. He laughed to himself and walked over to the couch. "Baby it was just a dream calm down seriously. Eva wouldn't even want me back if any of that were true." Chandler said trying to calm her down. He wiped her tears away from her eyes and tried to kiss her but she pulled away. "Chandler, please stop fooling yourself. You love the idea of me but you don't love me. You love how I distract you from the reality you won't face. That you're still in love with Eva. Check your phone, I'm sure she tried to call you after the launch. You were both drunk off your ass." Chandler laughed and he tried to hug her but she pulled away again. "Seriously Chandler just check your phone." Chandler sighed and pulled his phone off the coffee table. Sure enough Eva had left him a couple of voicemails. He decided not to listen to them feeling weird.
Rachel pulled herself together and got off the couch. She walked towards the front door. "Chandler, we can work together because I would never do anything to hinder you and Jared's success' with Curve. But, us and whatever the hell we've been doing for the past couple of months is over. Please go check on Eva. I know you two are meant for each other." She said before leaving. Chandler laid on the couch for what seemed like an hour before building up enough strength to listen to the voicemails. Everyone had Eva crying and begging for him to come back into her life. How did he miss all of this last night? He had to admit he was happy to know she still thought of him that way. But he couldn't go running over to her because he didn't know where she lived. He texted her trying to figure out if she was okay. Babe, I love you too. Let's work this out. He sent the simple text and waited for a reply.
Chandler grabbed his keys as soon as he got the text for him to come over. He took an uber to the shop and got his Range. He sped over to Eva's and parked the car. He ran a hand through his hair before ringing the buzzer to let her know he was outside of her apartment building. It felt like his life was flashing before his eyes. All the good memories they had together came flying back. This was his chance to get her back. To win the love of his life back. Eva was his everything and he was ready to drop all the petty fights they had been getting in over the past year and just love on her. He missed everything about her so much. He waited for her to buzz him in. Excited to hold her, to kiss her, to talk everything out.
Chandler laughed when she opened the door. He made his way in and picked her up by the waist. He let her legs wrap around him as he closed the door and carried her to the couch. “I didn’t even listen to them. I can delete them later or save them for a good laugh.” He said chuckling. He sat down with her on his lap and started kissing her. They were both freshly showered. He loved when her hair was wet and curly. He played with it as he made out with her. It felt good, normal. Like how they used to kiss back in the day.
((how do you want to move forward this rp?))
