Does anyone have an idea where Elantris would fit. I could make it fit with a favorite prompt from another year but maybe something else would be suitable.

I’m reading 4321 by Paul Auster for another readathon, but I want to put it in a prompt too. Can anyone help me out?
Ruth-Ann wrote: "I’m reading 4321 by Paul Auster for another readathon, but I want to put it in a prompt too. Can anyone help me out?"I think it might count as "A Book about Time Travel" in a weird way. Maybe "A Book Set in the Decade You Were Born"? I'm also sure you can find a 2015 - 2017 prompt to fit it.
i was going to read Eighty Days: Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland's History-Making Race Around the World and wanted to know if it would fit in the category Book Involving a Sport. It is a race around the world. If not there, would it fit for Book Set at Sea? Half of it is done by boat. I don't want to fit it in both categories and would prefer it for the sport since I really am not into sports that much.
Kai wrote: "I would really like to read something from the Discworld Series, preferably starting with the first (The Colour of Magic?) would this fit in to any of the prompts? Thank you!"It would fit under the Book that takes place on another planet. Rincewind is almost always the antihero also. So it would probably fit that category too.
Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF HENRIETTA LACKS?"Microhistory, as mentioned, or possibly grief and death as there's a lot about how the situation was hard on her family, or recommended by another person taking the popsugar challenge, because I think everyone needs to read that book!
Thanks Monica & RaquelI have already kept The Lost City of Z for the microhistory prompt so was looking for another option.
Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF HENRIETTA LACKS?"It's been made into a movie,
A novel based on a real person,
Is the author a different ethnicity? If so, you could use that one
OR, a book recommended by someone, since Raquel recommended to you
Hopefully these help :)
Harshmi wrote: "Does anyone know what prompt will

Rebecca wrote: "My mother is very adamant that I “read” (we share an audible account) “Little Fires Everywhere” but I have so many prompts pre chosen and have no idea where it could fit. Any thoughts?"A past Goodreads Choice Awards winner, maybe?

It's not a novel though, it's non fiction.
Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF HENRIETTA LACKS?" It also won two Goodreads awards in 2010. Nonfiction and Debut author.

I could use that maybe. But I do hope we get a couple of other options since I had a book in mind for that prompt

Thanks Ian, I was also looking for somewhere to fit this. I think I might end up with the "meant to read in 2017" prompt, since I have something for the others you mention. But it´s good to have opportunities to swap around.
Sarah wrote: "Does anyone know if Zorro works for anything? Is it connected to the film at all? Thanks"Yes it´s connected to the film in the way that it´s about the same character, the original Zorro, Don Diego de la Vega. They´re connected in the same way that other characters who appear in several stories are connected, f.ex. Superman, different versions of Alice in Wonderland etc. (except Alice in Wonderland was a book first, Zorro was a tv-series back in 1957 according to IMDB. ) So I guess your question is, if it works for book, where you´ve already seen the movie, and I´d say yes (if you´ve seen the movie of course:))
Harshmi wrote: "Does anyone know what prompt will

I read it in 2016 for the "book with a blue cover" prompt, so it would fill the "previous year's list" category.

Yeah, I already knew it was the same character but if it isn't the same story as the film then I won't count it. Thanks any way but I'll have to think of another prompt to squeeze it into
Hi,Does anyone have any suggestions for where Sorry to Disrupt the Peace would fit? I've already read a book about mental health, which sounds like the most likely fit based on the description.
Thanks!
Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier?""Villain/antihero" or "death/grief", though they might be a sliiight stretch.
A movie version just came out in the last year or so - you could watch that first and then use it for the "movie you've already seen" prompt.
Alexandra wrote: "Help needed! Do you have any suggestions for Sunburn by Laura Lippman? Thanks."
OMG I'm reading Sunburn right now - it's my first Lippman and it is soooo good. Somebody tell me if the rest of her books are this good??
Let's see, it's 2018, rec by me, weather term in title (sort of - it's a stretch but I thought about it), local author if you're from Baltimore, anti-hero protagonist (everyone is a grifter), there seems to be a heist involved, here is a side-plot about domestic abuse so you could use "problem facing society" ... and I'm sure there's a previous prompt this would fill too.

Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use The Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles?"Last year's challenge had a book that takes place in a hotel. So you could use it for a previous year's prompt.

Oh, wow! Thank you so much! Have fun reading :-)
I have a question on two books. 1) Would Eighty Days: Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland's History-Making Race Around the World fit in the prompt for a book about a sport? and 2) I found Everything I Need To Know I Learned From a Little Golden Book in the self-help section of the book store. Would it fit under the prompt for a book on mental health?
Bhavna wrote: "Where can I use The Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles?"A Book Set in a Country That Fascinates You is the only obvious one jumping out at me
I'm sure you could find a 2015 - 2017 prompt to fill it, though.
I am really wanting to read the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Where can I fit in this first book? Thanks!
Kari wrote: "i was going to read Eighty Days: Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland's History-Making Race Around the World and wanted to know if it would fit in the category Book Involving a Sport. I thought it was a good book and informative but I was disappointed--but I'm not sure what I was expecting.
Miriam wrote: "Kari wrote: "i was going to read Eighty Days: Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland's History-Making Race Around the World and wanted to know if it would fit in the category Book Involvi..."Thank you. I was afraid of that. I'll look for another book with a recognized sport. I haven't started it yet so I'll shelve it for another challenge.
@ Christy, I read A court of thorns and roses for past prompt from 2016, based on a fairy tale. Other that that I can only think of the odd ones, like borrowed meant to read in 2017 etc.
Bhavya wrote: "can someone please tell me where dies night film by marisha pessl will fit? Thank you."I've seen it as a recommendation in " a book with a time of day" in the title. It's been several years since I read it but I'd say it would also work for "a book about death or grief" or possibly "a book about a villain or antihero."
Rhian wrote: "Where could Little Fires Everywhere fit? Thanks"Well, let's see. It could be:
1. A book you meant to read in 2017 but didn't get to
2. A book by an author of a different ethnicity than you
3. A past Goodreads Choice Awards winner
4. A book from a celebrity book club
5. Your favorite prompt from the 2015, 2016, or 2017 POPSUGAR Reading Challenges
Lynn wrote: "What prompts fit the book Children of the Jacaranda Tree by Sahar Delijani?"Maybe "A book by an author of a different ethnicity than you" or "A book about death or grief"
Curious as to where What Alice Forgot would fit?I'm thinking possibly a book about mental health and wonder if I'm right.
I was going to put What Alice Forgot into the prompt about seeing someone else reading it in public. The lady on the next sun lounge was reading it when I went to Fiji last October. Doesn’t help you though eh....you didn’t see her. Now I’ve just got to get around to reading it myself. It’s the only book I’ve seen someone else reading that I own. The other one was a James Patterson book when I was on a plane.
Lori wrote: "Curious as to where What Alice Forgot would fit?

Yes I think you could use this for "mental health" - it's not any "common" mental health problem she has, but it's a sort of amnesia (the sort that makes for interesting book plots!) so I think it counts.
