All of the major characters in this series were in this story. Did it work?

This story really worked for me. I loved how some of the past characters were guests at the party, while others had to be called upon to help with the rescue.

I felt the same way. Everyone was significantly part of the story. I also irked how elements of their stories followed them into this one (i.e., Megan’s prison recall, Javier’s memories of a bad arrest, etc.).
