The Advanced Reading Copies do have the old cover, but they have not been distributed except to media professionals, all of whom received an accompanying note that the cover image had changed since the printing of the ARCs. Unless those media professionals are on GoodReads, no GR member should possess ARCs with the old cover.Thanks for listing the paperback edition.
Under Goodreads rules, that means the old cover stays. However, we can mark it the ARC edition and remove the ASIN from the kindle edition. Then I'll create a new kindle edition with the new cover and ASIN.As for the ebook edition, it never had a cover. So I can add the new cover to that one, no problem.
After I finish all that, you have the ability to set whichever edition you'd like as default (the one that appears on your author profile and in search results when searching by name). Give me a few minutes to create the new kindle ed, add the cover to the ebook ed, and edit the old kindle into the ARC edition. Then follow the instructions here to set whichever you'd like as default:

Urrrrgh let me rephrase. You can't set the default cover, only the primary author can. Sorry, forgot I wasn't talking to the author here. Only primary authors and Goodreads employees can set default editions, not librarians. Anyways, you can see a list of all the editions of the book here I've created/edited here:

Thanks for your help. I will have the author set the default. Can you delete the ARC Kindle edition altogether? For our marketing and positioning purposes, we really don't want that cover out there. It will never be used in/on any version of this book, is no longer available on any online or in-store retailer, and for all intents and purposes, does not exist anymore... except on GoodReads. It would be great if we can take that off completely.Thanks!
No, I'm sorry. Once an ARC has been distributed, it is considered a valid, published edition on Goodreads. I would try contacting support, however, for a second opinion. Maybe the distinction you pointed out in message 3 would be enough to have it deleted, but no one except a GR employee can make that determination.

Can you please add the paperback edition (ISBN 9781426768095)? We'd like to run a good reads giveaway, but need the paper edition to appear before we can.
