I read The Dry by Jane Harper for this category. Really good mystery, I didn’t figure it out (yay!).
Bonus is that it is set in Australia, so it qualifies for the category on a book set in another world or continent.
The next in this series,Force of Nature just came out.

I read Masters of the Dew by Jacques Roumain. It is a Haitian novel about peasant life. A cool side note is that it was translated by Langston Hughes!

I'm in the middle of reading Sheltering Rain by Jojo Moyes. I've read a few books by the author and enjoy her writing!

I finally finished Sheltering Rain. I had to return the library book, got busy with school/Work stuff and just got the book back to finish reading it. It wasn’t my favorite Jojo Moyes book but it was on. Certainly not the most exciting of her novels.
