Ivonne Rovira (goodreadscommiss_ivonne) | 106 comments I'm trying to correct this, but I don't know how. Death on the Rivera
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
is listed as being No. 4 in John Bude's Inspector Meredith series, but it's No. 16, according to Stop You're Killing Me.

Also Death Makes a Prophet isn't listed in the series at all. Stop You're Killing Me lists it as No. 11
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Cheers, Ivonne

As for "Death on the Riviera", I don't think the original books were numbered. The recently republished editions seems to have gotten a series number, and seem to be published in a different order.

I don't know what "Stop You're Killing Me" what you are referring to is, but here is the Wikipedia page for the books by John Bude: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_... (all books, not only the Inspector Meredith).

Maybe a better approach for this series is make them unnumbered, in order of the original publication. Editions that were republished with a series number can have that number in the title field.

Stop, You're Killing Me! is the Anthony Award-winning website that tracks mystery books and everything about them: authors, locations, characters, etc. It tracks the numbers of series books and their release dates.

Arenda | 26447 comments The books are not numbered on that site, they are just listed in publication order.
