Resentment by the local law enforcement in Dunn’s Landing towards Tara & M. J. was pretty high. Even though there’s always tension between government agencies and locals, did it seem like the locals were working extra hard to be difficult? Do you have understanding of their behavior? Realistic?

Yes I thought they were way over the top in working against them. Not telling them autopsy times etc. Very chauvinistic.

It was downright dumb. You’ve got a vicious murder on your hand, no evidence to speak of and nowhere to turn but look at people with records. They should have welcomed the help. Crystal might not have been killed if these men hadn’t behaved so badly.

Good ole boys , being good ole boys. They are very territorial, more so with women in authority.
