I agree with Lauren this book was very well written. It brought to the forefront how white people often don't realize how their actions demonstrate racism. It also demonstrated that fear is the motivating factor. I am also reading Slavery by Another Name which highlights the actions of the government, civil authorities, and corporations to keep people of color as slaves legally through the penal system.
