I'm trying to remember the title of a book I read two to three years ago (and I believe had been recently published around when I read it). It was about a young British couple who move into a house. He is a sound technician for the BBC or similar, and she is a house wife. They have a small child. They hear strange rumors about previous owners of the house and he believes he is hearing messages from beyond the grave on his recording equipment. It was a suspense book more than a horror or fantasy novel because the focus was on the psychological degrading of the two main characters. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
