question
Is there a way to find out how many swear words are in a book?

I am a secondary school librarian and need to categorise books by age suitability. I've managed to convince my head of department that we should follow the BBFC guidelines and open up books with up to 4 instances of the F-word to Year 8 students and above (previously limited to year 10 students). My issue is I have read A LOT of books but I haven't read them all so wondered if there's a way to find out which books have what swear words or other inappropriate content in?

as well as the swear words it has some quite mature topics. I would keep it for children year 9 and above because they will get the most out of it at those ages.
I read this book and it does contain swear words so I advice you to categorise in a Young Adult section. (And inappropriate content such as 'prick')
Yes, it can be for over 9 and above but it could also have a long lasting effect on them as the book contains a lot of grieving emotion they might feel throughout.
