Amy | 12949 comments I read 28 books from other cultures.... Not done for the year yet, and Winter's Palace will be from Russia. Not sure where Invisible Bridge is set. Loved this challenge, and I'm going to continue it whether the similar challenge wins or not. Great idea....

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 8088 comments That’s great, Amy! We used different criteria for our challenges, and I definitely would have fared better following your more inclusive guidelines! Lol

I think I was too strict with my definition of what I wanted to count for this challenge. I limited myself to nonfiction written by someone from that country/spent significant time in that country.

I still like the SPIRIT of my definition though, and I have a bunch of suggestions on my TBR, so I might actually stick with my guidelines but make more of an effort next year...
