Noemi Roig (noemix) My 2017 's challenge was 30 (it still is) and I have not finished my 30 books yet.

I still have time, but this month I am sort of "cheating" by chosing novels for its lenght. Next year I don't want to do that so I must plan ahead and read more on summer in order to get the magic number without stress.

Soooo, I chose 31 books for 2018, but I will choose the books that I really want to read, despite the number of pages.

:-) ... and as you may notice, english is not my first (or second) language so there will be mistakes and typos in my posts, please don't be mad at me (and correct me if you like!)

Sabine Salm (bine1970) Good luck with your reading challenge. It’s a good goal.

What’s your first language?
Your English is much better than mine. My first language is german and my English is so bad.
But my future son is from Virginia and so i try to speak a log of English with him, because he doesn’t speak german

Noemi Roig (noemix) Hi Sabine!
I learned german a long time ago aber ich habe fast alle vergessen :-(
My first/second languages are catalan and spanish. I wish I could write more in english.

Congratulations on your son, I am sure you will learn a lot! And maybe you can get a great accent too. Do Virginians have a nice accent?

Hi Noemi, sounds like a great goal! Good luck with it and happy reading!
Btw, your English is just fine. Members in this group come from all over the world; a lot of us don't have English as a first language so we all make mistakes.

I'm sure it will, at least it has done so for me this year.
Besides, this group has awesome members who are super friendly and always willing to help and encourage their fellow readers.
