I thought I felt sorry for Katherine in part one, but this one hurt me the most for her. Having been pregnant seven times, and only having one surviving child, and a daughter must've been hard on her. I can see why she became bitter and depressed later on.
What has annoying me about the TV show Tudors now, is they didn't represent her properly. She was a background character that didn't get screen time. Very disappointing.
I hate Wolsey. That's the only one they got right in the show. He was definitely in it for himself, not caring if he hurt anyone in the process. Oddly enough, I would read a book on just him. I would love to see Alison Weir do a portrayal of him.
What gets under my skin about the past, is the okay mentality of husbands, especially Kings, are allowed to cheat on their wives. I'm trying to not get agitated because it was okay back then. Saying that, it was good that Henry didn't flaunt his mistresses. Again the TV show got it wrong, and Katherine was with him during the meeting with King Francis of France, not Anne Boleyn. She played a big part, give her what she deserves hahahaha.
Even though I know I'm going to hate Henry VIII a lot soon, I don't hate him just yet....yet.
I can't wait to read the next part, even though I'm going to cry a lot.

Ugh this was horrible 🤦🏻♀️ poor Katherine. All the crap she gets put through. She’s a devoted wife and she keeps loosing her babies and Henry while seeming like a loving husband I know he changes later on. I honestly think he loved her truly and some assholes got into his head....like Wolsey 🙄.
I hate the way women get treated back then. They are pretty much just a walking birthing tank. I mean Vikings treated their women better and even they had more rights. I’m glad things have changed since time (although we still have a long ways to go...at least in the United States)
