Thanks. Your wishes are much appreciated. I hope to focus more on reading and less on challenge deadlines for 2018. I stress myself over it.

I have been looking forward to Escape from Aleppo and A Land of Permanent Goodbyes. Also similar to those titles is Playing Atari with Saddam Hussein, the title interested me.

I also want to read The Cruel Prince and Thunderhead. I wonder how cruel this prince will be and why. I started reading Scythe earlier this year and am glad I won't have to wait long for Thunderhead to be published.

There are some Japanese comics I am looking forward to like Noragami: Stray God 19 and Tokyo Ghoul: Re, Volume 3. They both have fantasy elements, which I like and I'm impatient to know what happens next.

Oh yes, I so know what you mean Cindy! I have to keep reminding myself that it's all about relaxing and enjoying the books you're reading, not about how many you read, but yet.... Maybe someday I'll succeed in not stressing myself out about the quantity and focus totally on the quality (but there are so many great reads just waiting for me and so little time....lol)

I have read Tokyo Ghoul: re vol. 3. It had been a while since I finished Tokyo Ghoul that I forgot Takizawa. I can't believe that's him on the cover. I wonder if Amon will have a similar fate as Kaneki. Many loose ends to be tied; I look forward to it. Noragami vol. 19 hasn't been published yet.

My movie watch is going so slow. Still I have liked most of the movies I've watched.

I haven't read the books but am watching Tokyo Ghoul and Noragami is on my to watch list :)

My favorite movies were The Breadwinner, Thor Ragnarok and Despicable Me 3.

I watched the first two with my nephew, which I think increases my enjoyment if he is into the movie too. I liked that it had humor as well as action. Cate Blanchett was such a cool villain. Despicable Me 3 had me laughing throughout. Loved the family theme. The Breadwinner was more serious and realistic set in Afghanistan in the 2000s and girls not being allowed to go outside. Parvana and her family go through some tough situations. It had a cliffhanger ending. I hope they make the sequel.
