Someone Else's Fairytale by E.M. Tippetts
When did you add the book your TBR?
April 14, 2013

Thanks! that's interesting! sounds like a good way to have kids control what they read. My kids' school doesn't have that program.

The Killings at Badger's Draft, by Caroline Graham

When did you add the book your TBR? September 12, 2014, It's the oldest book on my TBR list.

I may or may not change....I was kind of set on My Wally Lamb book, Like, REALLY excited about it, lol.
What are you reading for this category?
I ended up reading What Was She Thinking? Notes on a Scandal , which was apparently the first book I ever added to Goodreads (or at least, the first one that is still on my TBR). And it just kind of reinforced the fact that there's a reason why I never go read books that sit on my TBR for that long, because it was pretty awful.

When did you add the book your TBR?
I added this book March 14, 2016. So basically I have been wanting to read this book since before it came out! I haven't been using Goodreads for very long (joined in 2015 I think), so that's why my oldest date isn't too old. I really liked this category though because I'm always looking for excuses to make some headway on my massive TBR list!

A friend recommended this years ago. I tried to read it then, but couldn't get into it so it languished on my TBR shelf for almost 6 years. Finally got through it this time. It was alright.

The book I chose was Until I Say Goodbye: A Book about Living It was an inspiring memoir.

And glad to finally unearth it from my early TBR, where it was originally added to the list way back in September 2011. Achoo! I'm sneezing from the dust on the cover! Lol.

I remember loving this book. Hope you do too.

I just finished Looking for Alaska for this prompt. Thank god this was one of my first 10, since the rest were all very lengthy classics!

March 9, 2015. It was that day (or around then, anyway) that I started my Goodreads account and added literally about 20-30 books that I'd been meaning to read just to play around with the site and see how things work.

I added it to the TBR in May 2011, which was the month that I joined GR.

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

I ended up reading Peony in Love. I enjoy Lisa See very much because I always learn so many fascinating things about Chinese culture. This wasn't one of my favorites from her, she's done much better, but I loved it anyways.
For the kids I hit the girls "Book stacks" ( the books they pulled out and made piles of that they want to read, like mommy ) and chose one of the first ten off of their piles. Although they have their own GR pages, they don't really have TBRs on them yet. We're getting there slowly. Ugh managing 3 good reads accounts is time consuming....
Mid Grade: Winter Pony, A follow up to one of my childhood favorites , Summer Pony. It wasn't as good as the original but there was a nice surprise in there.
And for Picture Books Next Time You See a Pill Bug, because my little one is obsessed with these cute little rollie polly's.
I believe my book was added in Jan or Feb of 2012 when I joined GRs. The girls stacks were new, they made them when I started pulling my challenge books off the shelves and piling them up.

No idea, I've only had goodreads for a couple years, I'm pretty sure I bought it back in college at some point. I DNFed it once, and finally decided to read it for this prompt. I don't use the "want to read" feature with any regularity, or keep any other kind of record of books that I intend to read. Usually if I really want to read something, I read it, unless I can't find it at the library or for a good deal.

Bless you Sheri, lol. My TBR here is at probably close to 2000 books 😳. I see things in my feed and add them if friends have given them good reviews or they sound interesting, and then I have tons that get added as I'm going along making my challenge lists. Add to that any give aways entered ( haven't won one of those in many years because I never got around to reviewing two of the three I was given) and there you have it. I have no idea whats even on there anymore, but I have slowly started taking a stab at removing some of them.
