Re 7: we do not merge or remove pen-names under which a book has been published. Please see the relevant bit of the Manual:

In some cases, a book may be originally published under a pen name, but then later reissued under the author's original name. When this happens, the author listed for any and all editions should be the author name the book was originally published under - so the reissued edition would need its author name changed to the originally published pen name. Doing this will allow the various editions to be combined.

Are we able to merge the 2 editions then that are on the authors page then?

Its listed twice...once with the pen name first and him as a secondary and the second with him as the primary author and the pen name as secondary.


Does it matter that all the books published under the pen and actual author profile are all the same books?

The two editions have already been combined. And since the books have been published under both names, both profiles stay.

How can both names be correct? Is one a pen name? Or does one have some sort of honorific or title?

عبد الرشيد is his name.
الصادق is his father's name.
محمودي is his last name.
And that's the way we follow in the Arab World but it seems that the other profile follow the English Way [first name + last name only] ^_^

Re Mat McLeod/James Lewis, the book that was originally published under the former and republished under the latter has been fixed. The name under which it was originally published is and must remain the primary author for all editions.
