It's a great series. There are a few that I feel don't quite hit the mark. I do remember when the first discovered the series, which I admit wasn't until somewhere around 11 or 12. I read the first and liked it, but didn't get the insane love of the series some had, but by the middle of 2 I was in love with the books. Anyone else think 1 was a bit more serious than the rest of the series?
I guess you could say I'm new to the series, but I'm already finished. I just read all 21 numbers novels as well as the 4 "in between the numbers" novels in just 16 days.....while working full time. I think you could say I'm HOOKED!!! I absolutely LOVE this series. I do wish they would get her some self defense classes to help her out a bit. You would think she'd learn a few things by now. LOL
DANG! that's impressive Deborah. That's like binge watching an entire 5 year tv series! And yeah, you'd think by now Steph would have learned a thing or two about self defense.
After I finished reading all 21 Plum books, I turned right around and read them again. Crazy I know, but I found that in reading them again I picked up on a few things I had missed before. I also found that I liked her 12 romance novels that she wrote before the Plum series. I read all of those next. She's definitely one of my favorites!!
Deborah, I've re-read a few. I have the collection and I'm not getting rid of it. Don't think it's crazy at all.
I started the series this year. On Hard Eight! I keep laughing out loud when I read these! My husband and kids just stare at me. I love Stephanie's character.

Collecting and re-reading books is nowhere near crazy. It's a really good thing! I'm re-reading the series right now as well. I do this every time I find books that I love! Good on ya:)

Definitely agree. Nothing wrong with collecting and re-reading books. I can't tell you how many times I've re-read Boy's Life (Robert R. McCammon-seriously love this book), The Drawing of the Three, Bag of Bones and many many more. People re-watch movies and tv shows all the time.
I found them mid January and I am already on Smokin Seventeen. They are so good, I might have to re-read them in a month or so. I definitely will be looking for them to purchase!
Recently a friend of mine was wanting some new books and we went to the bookstore together and I shoved One for the Money in her hands and told her "you have to read this series".
I recently gave my entire collection to a friend of my daughter's as I finally got them all as e-books. She is gleefully working her way through the series.
