Ben walked into the brightly colored carnival grounds. He hated carnivals. They were really loud. But, he knew he needed some sun... and unfortanately the park was crowded.
Jem had a day to himself today and decided to head to the carnival. One of his favorite places. He had a beanie on covering up his ears and his tail was tucked away so it wouldnt get caught on things. He looked around everywhere, obviously excited.
Ben sighed, rolling his shoulders slightly, putting both of his hands in his pockets after lighting himself a cigarette. He glanced at the screaming children. He could vaguely remember a time when the children were simply meals to feed his other side. He sighed, yawning slightly. Everything was a lot simpler then. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't even realize he was headed straight for Jem, he blinked when he bumped into him.
When Jem bumped into someone , he was pushe back slightly because of how small he was it didnt take much to knock him over. He looked up at the person he ran into and smiled. "Sorry, I should be paying more attention to where Im going." He tilted his head slightly so he couldbsee him better without the sun being in his eyes.
He blinked, going to say f*ck off or some smart remark like that... but then he saw Jem. He swallowed, holding out his hand, "My fault" he said blankly, throwing the cigarette to the ground and smooshing it beneath his show.
He took his hand and stood up. He brushed off his clothes and fixed his hat. "Thanks" He was still smiling. "Im Jem." he held out his hand to for him to shake.
"Big B... you can call me Ben" he said calmly, swallowing as he took his hand and shook it.
He smiled and nodded. "So, Ben. Come here often?"He asked, biting his lip a little. which made him look even cuter then he already was.

<< Yea, I'll post there >>He swallowed, shaking his head slowly, "No." he said blankly. Usually he didn't allow people to call him Ben, not even the people in his gang.
He nodded. "I come here all the time. I love this place but I dont know why though. "he shrugged and smiled up at him.
He nodded, "Yea... it's pretty nice..." he murmured.
"you dont talk much." He said. He looked around thinking. "Have you tried the ice cream here? its prett good." He was faintly hinting that they should go get some.
He shook his head, taking out his wallet, "We'll get some." he murmured, walking towards the ice cream shop.
He smiled excitedly andfollowed him. He put his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt.
He walked up to the ice cream stall and looked up at the choices, "Pick one" he mumbled, ordering strawberry for himself.
He thought for a moment. "Um vanilla please." He said and went to pull out some money to pay for his.
He shook his head, paying for them both, "I got it." he murmured, handing him his ice cream.
"Thanks. You didnt have to thoigh." He smiled and took the ice cream and licked it. He walked over and sat down at a table.
He followed, swallowing and struggling to look away.
He wasnt talking as much, now that he was concentrated on his ice cream.
He glanced over, clenching his fists, Dear god... he thought.
He looked up at him for a second. "you alright?" He asked tilting his head lightly.
He nodded, quickly looking away, "Fine." he mumbled.
He smiler and nodded and went back to his ice cream already hlf way donewith it.
He swallowed, staring at the ground as he ate his ice cream, "You live around here?" he asked.
"Yes I do. Do you?" He asked him and glanced up, smiling softly.
"Yea... I guess.." he nodded.
He tilted his head slightly, but didnt question him. He nibbled on the cone a little.
He glanced at him, "So uh.. I... Like your shirt." he mumbled, not knowing what else to say.
"really?" He smiled. "Me too." He looked down at his sirt the up at him. "So what ride is your favorite?" He asked curiously.
He let out a hm, "I'm not sure... I've never really been on any of them before." he replied.
"oh..." he grinned and finished hisbice cream. " lets go on the ferris wheel?!" he said jumping up. "its my favorite."
He blinked, lightly another cigarette and nodding, "Fine" he murmured, throwing away his ice cream. Heh. It's like a date. he thought.
He smiled brightly and grabbed his hand, pulling him along towards the ferris wheel. this is going to be so much fun! was the only thought running through his head... at themoment.
He blinked down at his hand, he's so soft... he thought, chuckling to himself faintly before making his expression blank and following him.
It wasnt long before they made it in line. He was on the verge of jumping up and down, thats how excited it was nd sweets usually made him hyper. "This is going to be fun." he smiled at him brightl.
He nodded, taking a drag, "Yea." he said blankly, glancing at him and blinking at a small bit of ice cream on his cheek. He made his face blank, reaching over and pressing a napkin up against his cheek.
He froze for a second when he felt the napkin on his cheek. He glanced at him, then at the napkin. then back at him. "thanks." he said become slightly shy, why he wsas being shy all of a sudden, he does not know.
He swallowed, nodding, releasing the napkin from his cheek and crumpling it up, throwing it in the trash, "So uh... it's a circle with chairs that spins?" he mumbled.
""Uh.. oh... yeah. Pretty much." He nodded and climbed into one of the seats and waited for him. "Its really cool when the sun sets and the view is just amazing." hr smiled and looked up.
"Well the sun is going down... should be set by the time we're at the top considering how slow this thing is." he murmured..
He smiled. "I ssre hope so." he bit his lip aand glanced at him then back up at the sky.
He nods, sighing softly and looking away.
He rubbed his eyes and took off his hat forgetting about his ear. He fixed his hair aand then sneezed
He blinked at the ears, swallowing, "H-Hey... your.. uh..." he pointed to the ears.
"huh?" he looked over at him, his ears going up slightly. "oh shoot." he put his hat back on and qlanced away. he had totally forgotten and most people didnt react to well to his ears and tail.
He looked away, "Yea, it can be a pest. Humans don't really react well to other species." he murmured, shoving his hands in his pockets.
He slowly looked back at him confused. "wait... what do you mean? What are you, if you arent human?" he said tilting his head a little. "sorry that sounded a tiny bit rude, but stil."
