I have a couple but nothing big. You?
Our charries are a couple. After an accident at work, my charrie goes and gets some tests done. the results come back and he has Leukemia. Eventually my charrie ends up passing away. Four years later and it's your wedding day. Then out in the crowd, you see my charrie mysterously back from the dead

Derrick was back in the hospital once again. This was the 6th time within two months. He just hoped they were able to contact Iris to tell her. He sometimes felt like a burden to her.
Iris didn't know about Derrick being in the hospital so much, the last she heard was he was going to the doctors for a check up. She was the bakery store where she worked, and owned, making what the costumes ordered. She decided to call Derrick and see how he was doing while as was on break.
Derrck had to leave his phone in the front desk so he couldnt get her calls. The hospital finally calls her and continued til she picked up
Iris was a little worried that he didn't pick up but pushed it aside. She picked up her phone whenever she heard it ringing, thinking it wasDerrick. "Hey," Iris motioned for her other co worker to take her spot for a moment till she got off the phone.
"Oh, Ms Moore, This is Kings Daughters, we have Derrick over here with us. If you can, you need to hury" the receptionist told her over the phone
Listening carefully to the phone call, she tried not to get ahead of herself until they told her she needed to hurry. "Yeah sure, I'll be right over. What's the problem?" Iris asked as she grabbed her stuff and headed out the door.
"Theres some news the doctor needs to tell you two, but Derrick didn't want to hear it till you were there too" She told her
"Alright, tell them I'll be there in ten minutes." Iris said before hanging up. She bit her lip as she drove down to the hospital, trying to push away all negative thoughts. Soon she was there and met up with the doctor and Derrick, hugging him. "Hey, is everything ok?" She asked them worriedly.
His slightly pale body hugged her back. He used to be so handsome and healthy. Now he was really sick. "Ok. Derrick." He sighed sadly. "The chemo isn't working. The Cancer has become much more aggresive." he told them soflty
Iris's eyes widened whenever the doctor said that. "Cancer? Derrick, you never told me about this." She looked at him with fear filled eyes before turning to the doctor. "What do you mean..? It's getting worse?
"Yes.. But there still is a chance he could survive." he told her. Derrick took her hand and held it in his. "I did'nt want to tell you. I did'nt want to be a burden" he told her softly
Iris put her other hand over Derrick's, her eyes pooling a but with tears. "You should of told me, I could've helped you." She told him and asked the doctor "What can we do?"
"We'll up the chemo for now. We'll just have to keep our head up" he told them. Derrick got dizzy and had to sit down in the hospital bed
Iris sat down with him, looking at him and the doctor. Her hands were trembling, she don't want anything to happen to Derrick. "Alright, can we have a moment please?" She asked the doctor.
The doctor nodded and walked out bfore shutting the door behind him. Derrick was sitting at the edge of the bed. "Please don't be mad at me" he told her sadly and looked down
"I could never be mad at you, Derrick. I love you too much." Her voice waver a bit. Iris tilted his chin back up "We'll make it through this, I promise. I won't lose you." She said as she hugged him gently.
He hugged her back and pulled her closer to him. His body was still nice and warm. He liked comforting her this way
Iris couldn't hold it in any more. She began to sob softly against his chest, she was too scared of losing Derrick. "I love you do much Derrick." She said against his shirt she was gripping.
"I love you. More than you'll ever know" he told her sand pulled hwe onto hs lap and contnued hoding her
Iris continued to cry against him, hating she had to break down in front of him. She soon pulled away and pushed away her tears, "Can you come home or are they making you stay?"
"Yeah, I'm all done here. Let's go" he told her soflty and held her hand as he signed himself out
She smiled and walked out with him, letting him take his care and she in hers. They met bAck at home where she tried to act like it was a normal day. "So what do you want for dinner?"
"I have some extra money, how about we go get something greasy" he told her with a smile and rubbed his belly
Iris laughed softly and nodded, taking hand in hers. "That sound perfect to me." She headed over to his car "Do you remember here we met?" She asked him.
"Of course I do" he told her with a smile and threw her the keys. "You drive" he told her with a small laugh
