A DAILY SONG
after next week i never have to take another chemistry class again...
i truly, deeply hate my current major but i've also learned a lot about myself, so i guess there's value in that, too
ok i understand that it's funny that a 19 year old listens to mostly rock ballads and mom music and depressing ballads and i don't mind being the butt of jokes
...but can people seriously stop belittling my taste in music
i understand that not a lot of people around my age have the same preferences which is why i don't try to force it onto people or guilt them into listening to my favorites
but the reason i listen to so much of it is because many of them have strong emotions tied to them... btob's songs have helped me through most of the hardest times in my life... during the two weeks when i drove to santa monica and back every day (an hour and a half in each direction) to see my grandpa as he was dying ftisland's ballads were one of my only comforts...
i can take jokes but isn't true criticism a little harsh when it's only my taste...
i should reread fangirl now that i'm actually in college... maybe i'd look at it differently now
