DoodlePandas 2018 Reading Challenges
^You are halfway or more on every board now except Megamix though.I'm finding that a couple of choices I made up to this point are not serving me well in the long run, so I might need to reevaluate the reading list that is left, or just accept that I will need to read 50 or 51 books to finish all the cards. I keep rethinking my substitutions so it is now becoming one step back for two steps forward kind of thing.

I haven't got to that stage yet, of choosing my reads to meet category requirements. I can see it coming later in the year, tho.
I haven't yet chosen books to fit the challenge, just been lucky I guess :)I'm getting to that point now though. I don't know if I will go all in on finishing the challenge, or just reading what I feel like. Will have to see as the year progresses, I tend to hit a reading slump around summer.

Lol. I thought you could have used Zombie Fallout for, um, Zombie and tghen you could use the new one for DNF?
Just a thought.
HomeInMyShoes wrote: "I still need to read my zombie book. Not really looking forward to that."You should read my zombie book: XOM-B. It's not scary and it's different. I don't think I used it for Zombie, though... I think I used it for something else so don't go look cause it's probably a spoiler!!!
I've got a zombie book picked out. I just need to read it. I'm just not a huge horror fan. But it's by an author from Sweden so that is a total plus: Handling the Undead. It's just one of those categories I never really wanted to read, but I found something interesting for it that works geographically.

I feel you. I'd been sitting on that zombie book for at least a year. Bought it for a different challenge but didn't want to read it.
HomeInMyShoes wrote: "The positive is I'm almost done the challenges so at least it is in the home stretch of books."That's great!!
I'm looking forward to more than half a year of reading whatever, whenever. Eight more books for the megamix board. And one substitution category left.
That's fantastic. When I finish the book I will start this evening, I will have read exactly 1/2 of the theoretical minimum books to complete the challenge. I have a long way to go.

You are doing great on so many challenges! I resisted joining challenges, but finally broke down and joined the one for books already owned. Keep it up!
