I think that all of us who regularly check and post on this group have been Month lead. Is there anyone that wants to volunteer? Maybe K-La?

If you can't find anyone, I'll do it. Check with the others first, though.

Have you had a chance to invite my friend to join the group?

K-la Hugie | 14 comments Actually I am supposed to be in charge for next month I just keep forgetting to post my books. For August I decided to pick a bunch of books from my to read list that were from different genres. I am hoping this way there is something that everyone would like to read and we won't be stuck with just one type of book. Here is the list (and Cameron can set up the voting):

A Game of Thrones
The Book of Lost Things
Lone Survivor
The Long Earth
Middlesex
Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers

Just a warning- there is some... potentially objectionable content... in A Game of Thrones. That being said, I've read the whole series and they're *awesome*.

Is there going to be a first and second vote poll, Cameron?

Just a first right now, unless you want to make a second place poll for us, You are a moderator now and can.

So it looks like the Long Earth has won. I am in the middle of two different books right now so I won't be able to start Long Earth Right now. How about we make it the book for both August and September?

I think that sounds like a good idea. I'm still working on conquering July's book (and I have several other books to read, too).
