Here, your character can show off their skills. Don't write anything they wouldn't do. Get creative! This goes towards your character's training score.

Private Session: Kai Le'Gradein, District 2

Kai entered the session with the same look on her face that she had on the chariots. Dark, evil, menacing. She cleared her throat and announced her name to the Gamemakers.

"Kai Le'Gradein, District Two," Kai said, watching as each of the Gamemakers fixed their eyes on her, delighted at the sound of a Career District. She grabbed several feet of rope and the tools to light a fire before sprinting over to the climbing wall. She scaled it with ease, her mind clear and focused. Once at the top, she launched herself into the rafters, crawling across the ceiling and securing the rope to one of the beams. She then slid down the rope, setting it on fire behind her. Once at the bottom, she sprinted to the plants quiz, completing it quickly with a 98% score. She then demonstrated her skills with each long-range weapon except a bow next. Lifting her first knife, she steadied herself before hurling it at the heart of the dummy. Her next weapon was a spear, which she threw at the stomach of the same target. She also demonstrated her abilities with a sword and axe through combat with a trainer, who she beat with ease and left on the ground, writhing in pain.

When she had demonstrated her weaponry skills, Kai took another three knives from the rack and gazed at the Gamemaker's sector. First knife in hand, she launched it at a Gamemaker holding his glass out in front of him. The knife shattered the glass and embedded itself in the large pig behind it. A gasp erupted from among the Gamemakers before she bowed and left the room with the same smirk on her face that was present when she first walked in. She placed the other two knives back on the rack on her way out. Just as she reached the doors, she turned back to the Gamemakers, glaring at them with pure hatred.

"I wasn't acting at the Parade," was all she said before leaving the room, the door slamming behind her.

Kaiden strode into the room, hands by his sides. The look in his eyes was fierce and when he spoke his voice was deathly dangerous sounding. Mocking and not bothering to hide it. "Kaiden Ciocca, District Two" The Gamemakers snapped to attention at the sound of a Career District.

Kaiden wanted to be different, he knew that all of the others would probably light a fire or shoot knives at targets slowly and that stuff, but he had different plans. First, to make himself seem innocent he went to the fire making station, and lit it easily. It was like a second sense for him. He then moved to the swords and grabbed one from the table. Then, he hung up 5 dummies around him by the neck, showing off his knot tying skills. For a moment he just held the sword standing there as if he wasn't going to do anything in the ring of dummies. The moment the Gamemakers got bored he threw a sword and picked up another and threw it, and another, and another until each of the five dummies had a sword lodged in, piercing the center of the heart. He had done it so quickly it seemed as though he had spun around once and all of the knives had been thrown at once; an illusion. But he had really done it. He then continued on to the spears and axes. In one hand he held a spear, in the other was a sword. He threw them both simultaneously at two separate dummies, they both chopped the heads off cleanly and thoroughly. He then moved into the stimulator, setting it to the highest level possible. Time for some hand to hand. First, three dummies. charged towards him, all had a sword in hand. To the first one, he performed a roundhouse kick and knocked the sword to the ground. Then he squeezed the dummies' throat for a few moments until it and the sword disappeared. To deal with the next two...he charged at both of them at the same time. He landed a sharp punch to the second dummies' heart, and landed a kick to the 3rd dummies' throat, knocking it down and then standing on it's throat with one foot. At the same time, he used his other foot to kick the 2nd dummies right in between the eyes and then to punch it on the head. Both disappeared at the same time. It was obvious he was skilled with weapons and hand to hand combat.

Kaiden wasn't done yet. He had yet one more plan to get him a twelve. He got the best sword there and stood sideways to the Gamemaker's table. Each of them had their wine glasses in front of them, each had been drunk out of, but none completely. First, he used the sword and pricked his finger. He put a drop of his blood in each glass. The Gamemakers watched him carefully, although a few looked sick. Good, he was keeping them in contact with him. He grabbed a sword, the point dipped in his blood and stood again sideways to the Gamemakers table. He ran down it, his sword outstretched, knocking over each one of the wine glasses and demolishing it as it broke into a million pieces on the floor and table. He picked up a few, and none of them noticed. Most of the Gamemakers screamed and then he bowed in front of them mockingly.

"Thank you for your time." He began to leave without being dismissed. But then, he threw the glass shards back at the Gamemakers. He closed the door as shrieks echoed throughout the room with a loud slam, pleased with himself.

District Nine-Grain

Private Training Session

Lyra drew a deep breath and strode into the room. Up above on a platform were the Gamemakers, drinking, eating and laughing, all too self-obsessed to notice her or anything else really. It was as if they weren't aware that they were scoring any tributes.
Lyra stood just in front of them. "Lyra Platinum, District Nine."
The Gamemakers paid no attention.
"Ahem! Lyra Platinum, District Nine!" she said louder.
This time the Gamemakers turned around and saw her for the first time. Some even looked surprised to see her.
Lyra hurried over to where the knives were, wanting to get started as soon as possible so they wouldn't lose interest.
Lyra aimed the first knife at the target on the stomach of the figure. She threw the knife and it whizzed through the air. The knife struck the second ring, almost a bullseye. She threw another and it hit the forehead of the figure. Lyra aimed another at the centre of the target on the chest. She used all her strength and hurled the knife forward. It wedged into the centre of the target deeply. Lyra smiled to herself, and threw another. This time it hit where the heart would be-perfectly.
Lyra grabbed two daggers and ran over to the dummies. A few Gamemakers had lost interest by then. She charged at a dummy and stabbed it's stomach. She used her other dagger to stab it in the eye. Lyra drew her knives out and wedged them into the back of another dummy. She pulled one out and swung her arm backwards. It stabbed the chest of another dummy. Lyra yanked both her daggers out, and sliced the stomach of a fourth dummy. She stabbed her second dagger into the mouth of a fifth.
It was after she had returned all her knives to their rack when the full force of what she had shown hit her. Those dummies could be real people-other tributes. And she would be killing them. Lyra felt a cold chill creeping up her back. She had just willingly stabbed would could have been a tribute without a second thought. What was she becoming?

Ella-Marie entered the room with a small smile on her face ready to prove them wrong. Look at she is so small..........She is fragile she couldn't even hurt a fly..................She looks too innocent

"My name is Ella-Marie Petrova" She tried to say but her anger arouse from the comments she heard from the gamemakers.

She felt herself snapped her direction towards the gamemakers. The Head snickered at her temper before lifting up his hand to stop the commotion. The Head looked at her from head to toe but smirked none of the less, "This girl wont last a day in games"

She looked up at the head ready for him to give her the okay to begin. The Head said the word go and waited for the dummies to appear out of know where. The Head sat down watching the girl along with the other around him.

Ella-Marie focused and remembered all the painful memories of her past feeling the anger. The dummy popped out nowhere then she threw one of her chained daggers at its chest then the other to another dummies head. SHe smirked before pulling which caused then to collide with each other after she jumped in the air. She landed but felt another behind her which she then swiftly put the around its neck. She strangled it until the threw both daggers at the last dummy she saw. She fixed her posture and faced The Head which looked astonished. She wasn't done yet.....She threw one of her daggers next to the Head smirking.

"Never judge a book by its cover" She said before rolling her eyes. She exited the room back to her normal self which was shy and quiet.

 †Emily† | 443 comments Piper Hudson, District 8

Piper walked into the Training center, her steps light and quiet on the ground. She stopped in the center of the room, gave a little wave, wriggling her fingers at the Gamemakers. Some laughed and some shook their heads, probably thinking she wasn’t serious enough. Giving a wide smile, Piper introduced herself, “Piper Hudson, District 8.” She then turned on her heal and walked towards the knot tying station. She had planned her entire session down to the minute, first knot tying, then agility course and lastly archery. She had picked up knot tying in the Training center quite easily, her long, boney fingers could easily slip through the rope when tying difficult knots. She also enjoyed tying the knots, it reminded her of home. She had always helped her mother sew, bringing the fabrics to her and watching her sew the pieces of fabric into clothes. The texture of the ropes is what gave her a sense of relief as it reminded her of the fabrics she would always carry to her mother. She had a tendency to rub the fabrics between her fingers, letting the fabrics rub against her fingertips. It had a calming affect for her. She quickly tied about 5 knots, all of them complicated and intricate. She then moved to the agility course, her footsteps on the floor so quiet, some Gamemakers had to do a double take when they realized she wasn’t at the knot station anymore. She pressed the buzzer to start the time and began to run, jumping over obstacles and dunking. She zig-zagged her way through some thick poles, maybe they were meant to be trees. She finish the course in about 1 minute and a half. She had a radiant smile on her face, turning to the Gamemakers, giving them a thumbs up.

She then proceeded to the weapons table, picking up a bow and some arrows. She swiftly slung the bow over her head and across her chest as she made her way to the targets. She took her time getting ready to shoot, this had to be perfect. She adjusted her feet, making sure they were a good length apart. She notched an arrow and pulled back, one eye closed, the other squinting at the target. She let the arrow fly and it hit the target with a loud thud. The arrow hit the second ring from the middle. She gave a sigh of relief, this was going good. She took another arrow and pulled it back, letting it sail towards the target, hitting again the second ring from the middle. She had one arrow left, she better hit the middle or she wouldn’t get a good score. She pulled back the last arrow, took a deep breath and as she let the arrow go, she breathed out a breath. Her hands were steady and as the arrow made its way to the target in the mere seconds after she shot it, she stood as still as a statue, leaning forward with anticipation. And much to her delight, the arrow hit the dead-center. She squealed with happiness, quickly putting away her bow and jogging to the Gamemakers. She bowed and smiled, “Bet you didn’t expect that from a District 8 tribute. You’re in for a surprise this year.” She said, almost snarling. She detested these men and couldn’t wait to show them that she was what her parents called her, “An uncontrollable ball of fire.”
