Craig White | 6727 comments yay, morrissey! yay, me! stood out like a diamond in the mouth of a corpse in that, frankly awful list - proof (for me) that music has rarely been so stale as it has been this year! jeebus, we need a revolution!

Sera69 | 1931 comments Morrissey as the saviour for the year? ...says it all about the f/d up hell-hole that is 2017. Happy to be last if he's leading: I'll take that wooden spoon with pride!

theDuke | 6502 comments I don't think 2017 been all that bad for music, but I've been too busy listening to aussie psyche this year....there was hellva lot of it! I'm still waiting for the final King Gizz album for this year to drop....just over two weeks left to go!

I saw elsewhere the promise was 'four or five' albums. Don't hold your breath too much. 😉

there is ALWAYS a 'best of the year', but of late the best just don't cut it - the best of a pile of bland!

Flightless have just released two new singles yesterday on their FB page...so the album is very close to dropping. Stu Mackenzie interview on Consequence of Sound, hinted at a possibility of an Oddments 2 being released very late this year. Sounds like it'll be a song orientated album, rather than an story album that the last 4 have been.
