Ilona | 4698 comments I didn't realise thatSimon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda was part of a series. I can join you for Leah on the Offbeat!

July is good for The Knife of Never Letting Go and I wouldn't mind reading the whole series.

message 502: by Shilpa (new)

Shilpa Sheetal (eternally_bonkers) Anyone up for Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda with me for the month of May?

I have Leah on the Offbeat planned for July as mentioned before so would love to join.
Hadn't noticed it in between the other books you mentioned, sorry Kayla.

message 505: by Joan (new)

Joan Barnett | 1007 comments I would love to join the Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda in June. My daughter has the book and it fills one of my prompts for my annual challenge.

I think somewhere Mary Pat asked me if I still wanted to do the Red Queen series. I do but definitely can't fit it in. I could see where I am in the fall with my challenge and get back to you on that.

just this year. My copy of Leah on the Offbeat will be in the mail today and I don't know how well I'll be able to hold off lol

Susy (susysstories) kayla wrote: "Awesome! Just let me know when you want to start :) ."

Probably mid May. Have to read a book for a training in May first + still finishing His Dark Materials.
Looks like I'm going to have to buy the book; my library doesn't have it in Amsterdam and in other cities it's not available at the moment. Not sure yet if I'll buy the paperback edition or ebook.....

And lastly, I would be interested in Circe too but like someone else said, don’t know if I’ll be able to get it in time for May :/

message 513: by Kristina (new)

Kristina I’m up for reading Circe whenever it’s scheduled. I already own the book so any month will work for me.

message 514: by SarahKat, Buddy Reads (new)

SarahKat | 6224 comments I will join for Circe as well. Whenever.

Kristin, I might join you for Small Spaces. I don't generally enjoy middle grade unless I'm reading the book to my son, and this one sounds a little too scary for him. But I did like Bear and the Nightingale so much I'm willing to give this one a try.

Hi, Kayla! I will be posting the May buddy read threads shortly and will make sure Circe is there. The others will be part of the updated list we keep in the buddy reads folder. I will post a link shortly after I have updated it.

On another note, buddy reads tend to be relaxed and as a general rule we don't set exact start days. Everyone reads the book and comments at their own pace. Since participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, we do ask that everyone mark spoilers!

message 532: by Mary Pat (new)

Mary Pat | 2186 comments Greetings, All! I just caught up on all of the posts here and will create May threads shortly. (Sorry for the delay!)

One question - Is Circe going to be in May or June?

Eirelyn (ladyeirelyn) | 1244 comments Thanks a lot, Mary Pat! :D

message 534: by Scott (new)

I think May and then maybe prolong it to June too for those of us who don't get the book in time to finish it in may?

I definitely have it on my tbr pile for May and think I'll start it immediately after finishing my current read! So I'd say yes, it's still happening if at least you want to join me?

Allison | 491 comments ^Yes...Mary Pat had said it was the runner up in the polls so would anyone like to read it....which made it sound like several people were interested. That’s a bummer but you and I can buddy read it this month, I have no problem with that! I was planning on visiting the library this weekend so I’ll pick it up.
