We will support books under 4.0/5 and/or <10 reviews, however they will fall into the Indy or Breakout program category.

How does a group member make a list of genres they want? Is that setup yet, did I miss something somewhere, is that what the bookshelf is for?

Hi L.E, there's a thread titled "Genres included in eBook Miner" which discusses what genres we'll support when our website is launched. At this stage we're functioning as a Goodreads group only, with a presence on Facebook & Twitter. When we eventually launch we will promote people's books to a large readership base.

The website will match readers to free and discounted books located within specific genres the reader selects.
This will ensure that they only receive information on books that they genuinely enjoy reading.
So far there is 18 genres, in the future this may be extended. You can select 1 genre or all 18! Choose as many or as few as you want.
We have a number of other options that will make EBM unique and set us apart from every other service out there.
Our 4/10 review standard means that readers will only be given books that contain a minimum 4.0/5.0 score with a minimum of 10 reviews on Amazon. If a book has under 10 reviews, it will be listed in our Indie Genre. We are very supportive of Indie Authors and will allow more free spots for this genre than any other we offer.
Our review standard is to help ensure that the reader only gets a quality product. Once a book hits 10 reviews, if it is under 4.0/5.0, we won't list it.
This equates to an 80% pass mark.
We will also employ other QA methods.
Readers will be able to log in and check their daily selections. They will also be able to elect to receive a daily or weekly newsletter, we will then email the selections to you!
Authors will be able to list their upcoming KDP free days and discounted books. There will be a number of free and paid features available.
As you can see by our good reads group, we will foster a supportive and innovative community for all involved.
There will be a lot more information including a few surprises unveiled closer to our launch date. Please limit this thread to questions specific to this post. Thanks.
