Finished Secret Honor, book 3 of the Honor Bound series by W. E. B. Griffin. I am not sure I like this series, as it is not on a par with his other ones. I read book 2 last July and decided not to read any more. But I have read 24 books by him and figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt. This book was ok, I guess, but it will be a while before I decide if want to read book 4,23/75

Just completed the newest book in The Court of Thrones and Roses series - A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. A nice, short (at least in Maas' world of massive books) morsel in the story while we wait for the next full novel. Nice little teasers about where the different characters might go in the next installment. Definitely make sure you review a synopsis of the last book. 4 stars14/15
Just started (and not continuing with) my 7th series - Something Old by Dianne Christner. I had a difficult time caring about the main character. She is everything that most non-Christians hate about Christians - judgmental, overbearing, and oblivious to her own faults. While the author eventually corrected her behavior, it came too little too late. I appreciated the insight into the Conservative Mennonite community, but not enough to continue the series. 2 stars15/15 - challenge completed!
If it's not too late, I would like to join. I love series books and will add my 2018 books below! I will finish 3 series I have started before this year.
1. Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan
The Blood of Olympus Complete
2. Septemius Heap by Angie Sage
The Darke Toad Complete
I will start 5 series this year
1. Trials of Apollo by Rick Riordan
-The Hidden Oracle
-The Dark Prophecy
2. Lord John Grey by Diana Galbadon

It is not too late, welcome :)
I have finished The Killing Season which is the second book of the Trail of the Gunfighter trilogy by Ralph Compton. This one of the series I said I would finish in 2018 and I have one book left.25/75
And I have finished Crisis, book 6 of the Jack Stapleton and Laurie Montgomery series by Robin Cook.26/75
Just completed the 2nd book in the Rebel of the Sands trilogy - Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton. Really good sequel. I like how Hamilton explored manipulation of motives and developed the characters. A few nice twists too. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars16/15
Just completed the Rebel of the Sands trilogy - Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton. Good end to the trilogy. There was nice closure and good development of the characters through the end. I really appreciate Hamilton's small vignettes in the midst of the story that pull back a bit and give perspective on an event that just occurred. There was a little bit of a disconnect throughout the story, which prevented it from being perfect. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars17/15
