Nominations open for January 2018 group read

It's time for everyone to nominate a book for our January 2018 group read! Each month during 2018 we will have a different genre to nominate - for January, it's HISTORICAL FICTION.

Please remember, every nomination must be by an Australian author.

NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)

This thread will be open until 10th December, then our nominations will go to the vote:) Good luck and have fun!

Our Moderator choice for January is Esme's Wish by Elizabeth Foster

This book is set to be on promotion on ebook shortly, for a few days. You'll be notified when with links etc. (Keep your eyes on the Free/Low Priced Kindle thread) It's also available in paperback...

It seems it's only available on Kobo (so epub) or from the publisher themselves - signed $29.99 plus $4 postage... I've just requested my library get a copy, but I'm not holding my breath!

Mary, I'm sorry to say that this one isn't Historical Fiction until 2022 - historical fiction is classified as 50 years prior to present day. Even though a couple of people have shelved it as such. Sorry...
